Thats awfully appealing John, to just close my eyes and forget it. But I know that its terribly irresponsible. We cannot just decimate a country, and turn our back on it when we grow weary of rebuilding it. Thats why the Middle East hates us. Western Civilization has done it time and time again. Whether England, the U.S. or other European countries that colonized the region, we left the Middle East to fester carelessly and are recieving our retribution for our carelessness.

Reason #11: African Americans and Latin Americans also would become more vulnerable under privatization.


Reason #12: Retirees will not be protected against inflation.

I don't think this thread is really going anywhere, nothing is being said that hasn't been said before.

But, It's clear despite the small majority disliking Bush that this forum is split down the middle.

A point was brought up on another forum that people focus too much on the war in Iraq when judging Georgey Boy. But then again, I don't think that point has any valid points.

If you ignore the germany 'incident', Hitler was an OKAY guy I guess, right?

And even if you ignore the war in Iraq. Bush would still be a pretty bad president due to the actions he's taking reguarding the patriot act and other stuff I won't get into because it involves religion.

He did not admit defeat at all. He stated the facts, we can no longer get Bush out of office because Kerry lost, but we will continue to spread facts. Thats all he said.

Now, back on topic. I've never once admited ANYONE was slanted. If anything the media was in favour of George Bush this entire time. They think he's bringing this nation together when all he's really doing is breaking it apart.

The democratic party is re-thinking their game plan right now.
They've realized the old course of action isn't working. They're looking for a new game plan for the next election.

We really have no hope of changing american for the better, if only a small step.

This past election is proof of that.
