Sorry IW but the Big Bang and the creation of life and evulution go against some very major scientific laws. And you have no answer or at the very least a bad one to a very major question that I'm not going to mention to see if you know which I speak off.

Technically, I don't think JW's consider themselves Christians. I mean they don't think Jesus is the Son of God or is it that they don't think he is part of God? I know the second one is true but I can't remember about the first. Chirstain does more or less mean Christ like as far as I understand so I guess they wouldn't be.
Edit: Thanks to Elara we know they do consider themselves Christian.

There are people or groups that force things on both sides.

Coming back to Geeo's point earlier if you look at everything about evolution --meaningnthe stuff for and against it-- then it really would be a religion.

Oh they do consider themselves Christian, and they believe Jesus is the son of God. Out of boredom I started reading the copy of the New World Testimate that she gave me... so many referrences... and non make any sense!

Funniest thing ever: "Jehovah God"

Out of curiosity, MV, what major scientific laws do the Big Bang and Evolution go against? I've never heard of this.

Big Bang Matter/energy cannot be created or destoried. We are talking about an unfathomable amout of matter. (espcially with Qusars --according to what scientists say they are-- taken into account) You would have to have the mass for all the planets stars, blackholes, etc. That would be packed into something about the size of "." how much energy would be needed to make that explode (and supposedly the force still being pushed upon the Qusars now).

Evolution indirectly goes against the same rule because life would have to come from inanimate objects and water and whatever gases were in the atmosphere.

Another scientific rule (I can't remember the name)says it that things left alone tend more towards disorder or being less complex.

DNA being created by chance doesn't work for me either they are just far to complex. Considering that life started from nothing there was also no point for things getting more complex than bacteria (not that bacteria is simple I mean it has a strand of DNA in it).

I can't believe I had all those typos have to go edit it after this. Thanks for clearing up the JW stuff. Jehovah God is just a name for what most Christians generally call God the Father but as I said earlier they don't think Jesus is God/part of God so Jehovah God would just be God. Really strange that He is the Son of God but not God/part of God.

I think that covered what you asked. Feel free to ask more if you want.
