Well now, my dad is on active duty. He was able to be home for memorial day weekend. So i did somethings with him this weekend. I think we're gonna go golfing tomorrow(today). Damn, i need to go to bed. But yea. So, he should be out of country by july. Its gonna be weird not having him here for over a year. It has its pros and cons such as me being able to have more freedom and do fun stuff more often. Like today when my parents were out and I had people over and then they left at 3 in the morning. Yea...... that was fun. But its cons are that he is gonna be gone and stuff. And i'm really gonna have to try to pick up the slack.

There's like this important lady who lives somewhere around here, her son just died over there...very very sad thing to lose a loved on that way. I'd hate to...unless of coarse it was my brother. My brother and father are really stupid...they aren't my own flesh and blood. He's not my real dad, and he's only my half brother. Maybe I would miss Jamie, but..not the dad...no way...

Acctually... thats impossible. They go on shifts of 1-2 years max (2 years only if they are forced to streach it out). But people like medics go on shorter tours, but go more frequently.

Its hard to lose someone. But the differance between you and i is that you use these deaths to justify why we shouldn't be at war. And i see them for the value and sacrafice. Each has done his/her job, and its not a game like some people make it out to be. Its a job that involves death as a possiblity. Its kind fubar when people use it to bash why we are at war. These people voluntered, served, and did what they were supposed to... they unfortuantly did not make it back.

And about the whole quote thing. Its called confidence and faith.
