Hey everyone.
I am seriously desperate for some help here.
I don't know if this is the right section of the forum but let's hope....
Here's the lowdown: I have the Visual Boy Advance Emulator on my Macbook. I am currently playing Pokemon FireRed. I want to be able to input working Gameshark Cheat codes or Codebreaker codes to modify the wild pokemon (basically catch whatever pokemon I want). However I cannot seem to find ANY working cheats or codes. I have entered a bunch of different codes a TON of different ways and NOTHING works. Does anybody out there have a similar problem or a solution??

Let me walk you through the steps I am trying to take.

1. I open VisualBoy Advance. When it says to open a ROM I click "Cancel"

2. I go up to the Menu Bar and click on "Options". I scroll down to enter either CodeBreaker Codes or GameShark Codes.

3. I enter the codes into the window that pops up. There are six slots within which codes can be entered. As I enter the codes I remove the space as apparrantly the emulator cannot read the codes as they are for the actual handheld. I have tried entering them in numerous ways from simply as is, to splitting them in pieces and placing each piece in one slot, to making them all one LOOONG line...just about anything I could think of.

4. I click on the button that says "Ok" and open the ROM. I get a lovely error message saying that either the GameShark or CodeBreaker code is invalid and that the order of said code is XXXXXXXXYYYYY or XXXXXXX YYYY.

5. I get extremely pissed off, search for more codes and keep FAILING. EVERY SINGLE FRIGGING TIME.

If ANYONE has codes that work for FIRE RED and has been able to get them to work properly, PLEASE walk me through the process step by step!!! I would <3 you forever!

p.s: I have heard of a code entering process such that there is something called a "Cheat List" that you go to and enter the codes for the Mac version. I cannot find this "Cheat List" at all. Any info on that?

p.s.s: The cheat code I am trying to use is the Wild Pokemon Modifier, that is I want a certain pokemon to appear to I can catch it without having to trade or otherwise obtain it.
