My favorite video game is Pokemon Moon. While it does have some things wrong with it, the things that it does right all make up for it. I made a review on Sun and Moon so if you're interested in that feel free to check it out. -------------------- |

NathanK17 : Paladins and Undertale. Paladins is a good free shooter game that is enjoyable, and it's easy to learn and get good at. And yes, you can call me a stupid Undertale fan, but I really like this game. It's my favorite story driven game that has memorable characters and judgement for your actions. It's overall a great game, but the fandom is absolutely horrible. -------------------- |

One of my favorites is River City Ransom. It is a beat 'em up with a bit of RPG elements. I love the interaction between the characters and seeing them yell "BARF!" after you beat them or "That guy is a freak!" with the bosses. You had a secret fight with Benny and Clyde at the bridge and you better be fairly powerful at that point. They can easily crush an unprepared player. It is just plain fun as hell. I have to say that my new favorite game has to be Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. The mix of game play, character development, and story have come together to create the perfect Fire Emblem game to me, as there isn't too much of the petting that previous games on the 3DS have employed to get buyers, but it's still kinda there in the interactions between characters. The game has a hard mode which makes the game very strategic, but Normal mode is just fine if you're looking for a slight challenge. I feel this could still be topped, but it is a masterpiece of a Fire Emblem game to those looking into getting into the series. I have many favorites, but I think the main one that come to mind is the first Bioshock. I know I've played through it at least 5 times. The story is just so cool. Some guy build a city under the sea. They lost their minds, and your plane goes down in the middle of all this. I thought the charters and voice actors were amazing. The weapons were really cool, plus you could upgrade them to do even cooler stuff. Then you have power you can shoot out of your hand. Fire, ice ,bees, and more. -------------------- |

My favorite game of all time would have to still be Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. That game still holds a close place in my heart in how the storytelling, gameplay and the lively worlds they have perfected in every way. Easily the best game on the Gamecube.

The games I'm about to list I haven't played long time ago and/or only once. I don't really play that much video games, but what I'm about to list are my favourites, regardless.
I'm categorising by genre, but I do have one that could be above all games. But first, the best 2D platformer would be Wario Land: Shake It with it's pleasing visuals as well as a great musical score, the classic Wario ramming the heck out of everything and of course the exploration for secrets, especially if you try to beat it 100% which I did. Speaking of exploration, I can't fail to mention good ol' Metroid Fusion. As a kid, there was a time where I've played the crap out of it. 15 - 20 times probably, often played when I had to wait for something. It was also my first ever Metroid. I know, it's very linear, but surprisingly it was very fun to play. What makes this game is the creepy atmosphere at parts. The music when you're about to face a boss sure is the creeptacular champion of all the audio creeps I've ever heard, but it's even more creepy/disturbing when it still plays after you've beaten the boss. Well done. Jumping to platforming in 3D, Mario Galaxy 1+2 sure are darn good and very innovative. Spending a lot of time beating it completely (Luigi replay, the big challenges at the very end) was at times frustrating, but fun nonetheless and very satisfying when it was over. The biggest favourite now is something that is a creative mixture of RPG and action adventure. Some might hate the fan-service, the plot that gets non-sensical or complicated in the later titles, but that's not really my focus. It's about hearts. Kingdom Hearts that is. I + II, both very memorable and epic. The first game I must've played so many times. Simply amazing, simple and amazing that game, I tell you. I couldn't wait for the second one and altough I haven't played it as much for some reason, I loved it just like the first one. It wasn't better because I thought the wider areas kinda defeated the exploration and puzzly parts that were great before and maybe some other things, but it wasn't worse because of the vastly improved gummi ship part which was boring in the previous. Okay, maybe KH2 was a tad better, but it's been a long time. Maybe I should play the remasters of the Kingdom Hearts games with all the features to see what I think. But I can easily say the I + II are both the best. I'm categorising by genre, but I do have one that could be above all games. My favorite video games are Dota 2 and Critical Ops( mobile ) Dota 2 is an amazing game, though its kinda hard and sometimes you get insulted for being a bad player. It's very strategic and interesting to play. Critical OPS is almost like the mobile version of CS GO while i don't have a decent computer to handle CS:GO nor do i have the game itself Critical OPS is very addicting and i think i play almost every week. That's a tough one I like lots of video games and series like Saint's Row, Dead Space, The Sims and Titan Fall just to name a few so I would have to say my favorite video game is whatever video game I'm playing at the moment. just to name a few so I would have to say my favorite video game is whatever video game I'm playing at the moment. |

My favorite game is Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. I remember playing this game when it came out over 20 years ago. For those unfamiliar with the Zelda series, this is a top-down adventure game. As a child, I first played this game before I was fully literate so I couldn't make use of the dialogue and hints. And yet, I still loved playing the game because of the sense of exploration, gameplay, and vibrant sprites and graphics. This game certainly has a personal, nostalgic bias going for it, but even when picking up the game again years later, the gameplay remains solid with a few options of tackling the dungeons in different orders. Also, Link to the Past is easy to pick up and put down throughout multiple playthroughs with the entire game itself only taking several hours to beat in its entirety. Not too short, and doesn't drag things out either. Writing about this makes me want to play it again! I remember playing this game when it came out over 20 years ago. One of my favorite games of all time is Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3DS. I love that a series like this was revived after 25 years and got a beautiful sequel in the form of Uprising. My favorite thing about the game, in general, is the voice acting during the fights with the real emotions and jokes timed to the music of the different modes. This is most prominent in the air battle sequences. I absolutely love this game and everything about it, even with other people complaining about the controls. Yes, it takes time to get used to, but I was all good with them in the end. I love the game so much and it is truly a hidden gem in the 3DS game library. Forge of Empires is now my new favorite game because it is the only one I play anymore. It is a browser game I discovered a while back when I was bored and have stuck with it ever since. I have been playing it daily for over a year now. It's a very SLOW game so don't go play it and think you can beat it overnight, you can't. It will take years to build up your city and move through the ages. The developers are working on it 24/7 adding all sorts of new content, fixing bugs and creating new stuff all the time. -------------------- |

It used to be the same as Davideo's--Final Fantasy 7--However, I think Earthbound is more deserving of my "favorite game" title. Timeless dialogue and design, addictive battle system, vast and realistic world to explore, spunky soundtrack....It's also neat that players are STILL discovering things about the game. The body of knowledge of Earthbound today is vastly wider than that 10 years ago, it's crazy. |

My favorite game would go to Pacman Championship Edition DX+. So many slight variations of routes are viable, and though I have yet to see a nice clean run of Championship 2, there's still room for improvement elsewhere. 60 hours in, I'm still impressed that small decisions can change the entire course of the run despite appearing to have made no difference in the short term. I've spent so much time working on the 5 minute score attack on a single course - I can totally see myself spending that much more on other courses.
On the flip side, I should really wait until a holiday break before trying to learn a new course. One problem at a time, I suppose. On the flip side, I should really wait until a holiday break before trying to learn a new course. One problem at a time, I suppose. -------------------- |

My favorite game ever is Final Fantasy XV. Yes, it has its issues, but I can't help but go crazy over everything it has to offer. The visuals, the characters, the story, the gameplay, it's all so amazing. Definitely a must have game, very highly recommended. It still blows me away to this day.

I have changed my mind after beating Spider-Man PS4. Such a fantastic game, I made a review on it earlier explaining my reasons as to why I lie it so much, so I won't go into too much detail. I'm going to be coming back to this game for years, I can tell.
