I've only been to a public pool once and the beach twice. I prefer the beach, it feels much better than a public pool, and its fun running along the beach,

I'm from New York.
The beaches here are filthy.
I can't remember the last time I went to the beach...
I mean I have..but not to go swimming or step a foot in that filthy water...
Just to roller blade on the boardwalk.
I LOVE swimming..it's my favorite activity during the summer and IN SWIMMING POOLS. The water is purely clean...and you could actually open your eyes and see where you are swimming as oppose to the filth in the seawater which could potentially infect you with something...

I don't really go swimming alot because I have a small fear of being in water, but I would rather go to the beach to swim because it's usually less dirty, and when I don't want to be in the water anymore, I can go relax on the beach!
