well i would just beat my dad up. Tho i couldn't beat my own dad up i could beat alot of otehr dads up.

Dont physically hit him...just mess with him a little. Sabotage some of his stuff like hide them. I know its stupid but it gives a good laugh. You shouldn't be looking for a fight anyways. I would seriously try to get some help, although if hes drunk off his ass maybe your odds of winning are pumped up.

Ok I really dont know what im talking about, but I do know your gonna have to do something about it one way or the other before it goes too far and something serious happens.

ff_freak, I am dead serious when I say this: get out of there. Tell a councilor, a teacher, anyone... they are obligated by federal law to do something if you are being abused. If you have family elsewhere move in with them, try and get your mom out too if you can. There is no reason that you should take being abused like that.

As for me... I haven't delt with a lot of physical abuse, but mental and emotional abuse I've had my fair share of. My father is an a**h***, thinks he knows everything, and will chew you out and threaten your life if you contradict him. I was raped when I was 14, but I never told my parents because like a day or two afterwards my dad said that if he ever found out that I had had sex he would kill me. So yeah... stayed silent there. By the way that he acts it is apparent that if my mother had not been around when I was little he most likely would have molested me... hell he tried to pimp out his step daughter (my sister) to his friends when she was 15, so I wouldn't put it past him. At least he hasn't hit me since I was 13.

My mother just b****es a lot and plays mental mindgames with me. When I was little she and my dad would both scream at me for crying, then grab a leather belt and "spank" me as hard as they could with it until they were not angry anymore or because I was screaming too loud. I come home from school crying because to be popular you had to make me cry, and my parents would tell me, and I quote, to "shut the f*** up or I'll give you a reason to cry you damn crybaby!"

The way I look at it..is..2 more years and I'm out...free. Free from the pain...free from hell. I've dealt with it for as long 14 so far. 2 more years I'll be 18 and able to move out. I'm scared to tell anyone, because if something goes wrong and it comes back to him, I'll be in big trouble. He'd REALLY get mad then...

No, beer is a depressant........ if anything it would make you do worse.

John alcohol is a stimulant, not a depressant. But because it messes up your coordination, I don't know if it would help you or hurt you when it came to fighting, depends on how well the person's coordination is when they are drunk.

Nope alcohol is a depressant, it slows (or depresses) your reflexes. Your right about fact that alcohol would make you fight worse.

I have my information from a college professor, it is a stimulant. Think about it, what is the sterotypical drunk? He or she is happy and laughs a lot. I am going to have to do some digging for more info and see if I can find out if it can be both.

I'm sorry Michael, but that professor doesn't know what he is talking about. Alcohol is a depressant, though it does cause a minor irritation of the nervous system, however this effect is much weaker and usually only noticable when the person is surrounded by a bunch of other people to stimulate the sensory imput. When you get drunk and you're alone you get sleepy.

Actually you are right. He said that it was a depressant, I got ift reversed. He said that although it may appear to be a stimulant with just a little, but it is always a deprssant. Oh well.

Alchol makes you feel less pain tho. Even if your uncoordinated you can still take big swings. .

When your fighting you know your losing from the pain, if you cant feel it then you'll probly end up hurting yourself alot worse. Although ive seen my dad drunk before and he'll hit his head and s*** and fall over...and he doesnt usually get up for awhile.

Well, you can feel less pain with alcohol but it stops adreneline, so you'll still be able to sense when to calm down, if you drink that much alcohol that you don't feel anything anymore, you're either gonna die or go into a coma.

Well not so much to make ti not there but to dull it. Think of it the same vaccines work. The stuff they inject you with is the actual illness(You drink beer). It will protect you from the illness but you can get symptoms like that illness(Beer makes you feel less pain but CAN throw off your ballance).
