Hey guys,
I'm new here. I download roms regularly for older consoles, but I just downloaded my first Dreamcast rom, Hydro Thunder, and I'm having problems. I'm using NullDC v.1.0.0. and I have the dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin files installed.
I downloaded the rar files to a folder called 'Hydro Thunder'. I extracted part 1, which has the hydrothunder.cdi file. It tells me I can't extract parts 2-4. It says please put all parts in the same folder and then open the first part only. (don't know if this is normal or not). The game seems to boot up fine, but after I press start on the title screen, it won't let me get past the player selection screen, or select any of the options. I can scroll through the different icons that are displayed on the screen, but the start button does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem, or know what could be wrong? I am also using a Logitech control pad that is similar to a PS3 controller and I have the keyboard buttons mapped to it.

When you download a split archive (a game in parts like that) you must have all the parts, have them all in the same folder and just extract from the first part only.
That is normal.
If you are using nullDC 1.0.0 you might want to first try using nullDC 1.0.3 as it would fix any compatibility problems.
If that doesnt work try right clicking on the hydro thunder rar part 1 and select the test archive option.
That will tell you if there is a problem with any of the parts and if there is then post about it in this thread.
