I think that the small islands at the west of Spain, could be the top of the Atlantean mountains, as well.

megarevolution1 : well there are alot of things people talk about that are thousands of years old that are fake, it's called storytelling or making up stories to explain things that couldnt be explained at the time.
Like different cultural stories about why the sun rises and such.
We know now that these things are fake but there are still places were some things are taken as the truth.
People are just in denial, lol

Maybe it's like on StarGate and Atlantis was a spaceship city that left this world
