I'm a big fan of Mortal Kombat...it's actually a game i play often here on Viz...I heard they were are or going to come out with a new MK movie called Mortal Kombat rebirth! If it releases I'm totally going and grabbing the most comfortable back seat in the movie theaters.

YourMajestyKen : I've done my research on that. Honest I don't like what the little pitch trailer did with MK... they took all the characters and made them scientifically possible to have been human. If they come out with a new movie (I've seen the first two a hundred times) I think it should be even closer to the real story than the first movies.

TheOmegaDragon : NO! MK has never taken a lone character from another series before, they did the DC thing but that sorta made sense. In MK your guy would be seen as a false god and destroyed by the elder gods.

scorpion347 : I agree it has nothing to do with the original story line and that's why I think it would be good. Thinking sort of outside the box....and the fighting scene they had in the trailer with baraka and johnny cage was awesome! that's what made me so excited to want to see it!
