Yes, it's that time of year again. Baseball is upon us. I look forward to the season, and hope all the luck to the teams. I hope my team (The Jays) can get some playoff action this year.

You mean America's old Pastime? Figured so. Baseball is headed on the gradual slope on the far side of the hill. I don't like baseball much. They are over payed, over druged, and over rated. They don't understand the thought of a salary cap, which prevents it from having a fair and equal league. Newho.... I don't like baseball much so i wont comment much in here. I thought i'd just get my 2 cents in.

Well, the Yankees beat the Red Sox yesterday.

But it turns out, "like any good Canadian", my favorite sport is hockey. But Baseball is another sport I enjoy, as well as Football. Football is the roxorz.

Then you see the same arm motion and speed as the fastball you saw and it ends up being 85mph changeup. That can't be easy to do. Then if you are somehow still at the plate the pitcher goes back to the fastball that looks like it is going faster than 100mph because of what you just saw the pitch before. And that is just from one pitcher. You could have a pitcher with a splitter, a screwball, a palmball, a fork ball, a knuckle ball, and even some that they don't even have a name for. Being a hitter has to be hard.

That is the main reason why NFL contracts aren't for as much. Also consider they play at most what 15 or 16 games a year? There are at least 162 games in a baseball season not counting playoffs. And I played football in high school, so I know a bit about how it goes.

Thats good, thats good. We are getting some where. Now you do know that football is much more physical than baseball. People get injured more often, and if you were to play a game ever day or every other, the injuries would be really high. Another good thing about the salary cap is that it prevents the players from asking rediculus amounts and gives more profit to owners so they can do stuff with the team.
