No you guys got it all wrong having a new race wouldn't be a bad thing at all, and I'm not saying that they are better then humans or anyone else. Sure you think that a furry's instincts may cause a slight issue, but problely not a serious problem. I'm not trying to cause a confusion or anything thing that sounds out of the ordinary. Yes the law would still be the same regardless of race or lineage, the laws of crime remain the same. I hate to make things confusing, but it is hard for me to say what I need to say since I make it more of a puzzle then able to explain it correctly.

Implying dolphins kill their babies and use them as beachballs? Are you high?
Animals dont murder their own kind except due to things like territorial disputes and mercy killings.
These are things done out of instinct and some things wouldnt happen if humans didnt keep taking land away from them.

Humans have and do do things more horrible then other animals, they abuse their own children, they have made slaves of their own kind, they kill things for pleasure and sport, not just for survival.
And no one said they would be able to murder and steal legally, the law would still apply as they are sentient beings.

With some stronger animal insticts people might fight less (animals dont just fight for the sake of it), they would have the notion to care for others more, they might care for their children better then alot of people seem to do.
And even if an human animal hybrid had none of the insticts of the animals, they would still be physically superior.
And even if the only change was cosmetic, then why can't they, it would esentially be the same as people getting plastic surgery.
So they might be better, they might only be different.
I'm doubting they will be worse then people though.

The furry fandom is, in simplest terms, a community of people who are interested in anthropomorphic (aka human-like) animals. It is not a fetish. There are people who treat it like a fetish, but then again there are people who treat everything as a fetish.

Bottom line, having sex is not the only reason people are furries. It's a remarkably common one, I won't lie, but that's why many anthro fans do not associate with the furry fandom. Take myself, for example.

So having sex is not the only reason to *become* a furry either. Do you understand that?

And trust me, there are far worse things people associate with the furry fandom that the government has officially legalized. Take child porn, for instance.

Being a furry means you want animal characteristics, but it in no way equals that they want to screw the family dog.
You could maybe say people that like furries could lean towards beastiality (though I wouldnt because I dont think this is true for alot of them), but not the people that want to be furries.
They in most cases would want to have sex with other furries or "normal" people.
Sex is pretty low on the list of reasons to become a furry for a furry.

In all honesty, I can't condemn this as wrong... but, and I don't really want to offend anyone, but my view is this is just... rather stupid. I don't see why anyone would want to do such a thing to themselves, but I can in no way say it is really wrong for anyone but a Christian... because only Christians would listen to the argument that it is like a sex-change: God made you as who you are, He didn't make you as something else trapped in that body, those are just confused human emotions.
