Calvinball, the game invented in the comic strip "Calvin & Hobbes", is a simple game that converts easily to text-based online gaming.

The Rules:

*The main rules in Calvinball are simple: the players get to decide and change them. Very few of the rules are permanent, and nothing CAN'T be altered. Except the masks.

*For text-based Calvinball, the extra rule is that each person can only post once until another person posts.

SUGGESTIONS
-----------------
*Calvinball rules are better introduced as flags, zones, wickets, etc.. I.E., "I touched the gravity wicket, so I'm too high to be affected by the fumbling zone" instead of "new rule: the fumbling zone doesn't exist.".
*Try not to turn this into a ridiculous god-modding back-and-forth; Calvinball's supposed to be all in good fun.

WHAT IN THE WORLD

heres an idea the first rule you cant type more then 20 words per post

* grabs ball and hits wilted up the side of the head*
head shots are 2 points!

*john now has 2*

I'm standing in the square that allows more than 20 words, and HOLD IT! You hit him in the head while you were in the Tornado triangle... now you've got to spin around until I post again, and I get 2 points for calling it.

*begins to spin*
*falls over*
*hops out of tonado triangle and throws ball at shaddow*

So can i like,
*picks up a ball, hides behind John , and throws it at wilted's motionless body*

*runs away from bigbob*
person who can hop on one foot the longest gets 2 points!
*starts hoping*

*hops after John, randomly takeing short circles, meaning i hop further than John*
*throws ball at Johns 1 hopping leg*

See what big bob is trying to do and also throw a ball at john. But this ball is aimed at his balls

*falls flat on his face*
*slowly gets up and limps after remlee and bigbob*

*bigbob picks up the ball 'not in that what' and runs behind the shed....*

*chases bigbob around the shed*
LAPS ARE 1 POINT EACH!

*walks in and stands on the square that lets you post more than 20 words*
"What in the world."
*Warns you all, Warning someone is 1 billion points each, so now I have 7 billion, and the game is over at 100 points, so I win*
"Yea"
"Whoever posts next will post the first post of the second round. The first post of the second round gives that person -1,000 points."

Actuall you forgot to state that teh winne rneeds exactly 100 so you infact lose. By pointing this out i get 100 points and win.

But by not capitalizing I you lose 1000 points, and I get your 100 so I win.

*slaps remlee and vash*
Nobody wins, just play!
(stop ruining the game)

*punches John and then holds him up so Remlee can hit him*
"Go ahead Rem."

But when you hold him up, you fail to realize that your in the "Can't touch people with R in their names" zone! So now you have to try and freestyle rap, or else you lose 80 points!

*hits john in the gut**
