I would pick Mightyena as a pet 'cuz it's like some kind of cool dog/wolf animal

I would choose Arcanine. Nothing beats a large dog that you can ride, run at extreme speeds and can make him start you a fire. It would just be spectacular

For a pet now that I think about I would want either Heracross or Archinine because they have high stats and are pretty rare to get and they both have a great move set and level up quickly.

I would like to have eevee as my pet since it looks most like a house hold pet. Also it looks fluffy and soft.

If you want a evee for a pet all you need to do is buy a fluffy cat. Tons of pokemon are based of a real life animals. And if you want a charmander your house will be burnt down. Then a wild charmander is loose thanks to you it will kill everything. so choose something  less dangerous.  a mew will look cute then when you are sleeping it will escape and blow up a town and come back and go to sleep like nothing happened. What i'm trying to say is pokemon are to dangerous to be real. In the game pokemon the pokemon will team up on the trainers why would they love you for making them imprisoned in a ball.I would stick with cats and dogs that don't want to kill me.  

I would have a Starly because I've always wanted a bird.

I think I would love to have a Turtwig. It is small... it is like a Turtle. It is loyal. And it grows into a Tortera... artificial grass for wherever I go. XD

Well this indeed, is definitely one of the more interesting questions, however it isn't as simple as it first appears to be if you approach the question logically, including details of how it would act, the benefits and responsibilities you would receive from each Pokémon, for example, an Onyx would require an open space but could be used to reach high up places, a Altaria would require the ability to fly freely as to avoid upsetting it. Baby Pokémon would require attention, whilst adult Pokémon would require completely different things. Another thing to take note of is would the Pokémon be child friendly? So after some consideration myself, I was set upon Quilava, it has a generally good personality, even it's evolved form has as evident in the Pokémon Chronicles, it doesn't require any more space than a common cat or pup. It has the ability to control it's fire and could act as a heater. However I then had a change of heart, I realized that the perfect Pokémon would be one of two Pokémon, Ditto or Mew, obviously Mew would be the one to pick as Ditto has many limitations to its transformation abilities. Mew has the ability to turn into any Pokémon, This would allow you to have every pet, but before I go into that I want to talk about it's other aspects, as many of you know, Mew is a very playful Pokémon, this would mean it would be very child-friendly. With it's abilities it would be able to amuse kids for a reasonable amount of time, now back to it's transfiguration abilities. With it's abilities you would be able to have every Pokémon as a pet in theory, for example you could have Mew turn into a Charizard to fly high in the sky or turn Mew into a Kyogre and dive deep into the unknown. This in all concludes that Mew is the best choice.
