I dont play but my friend Shaun is really good with a guitar. When it's nice outside sometimes we'll sit around a fire and he'll just play endlessly while i freestyle sing to it. Sometimes we end up with something really good and i wish i had written it down.

I love just playing around and freestyling with lyrics. It's fun and hilarious occasionally too haha. That's what playing music's all about, just to have fun.

I'm trying to learn Rebirthing by Skillet. I've learned a lot of songs with nothing but chords or power-chords, but I need to learn some challenging solos. This one is hard enough, I guess. It's in drop-D#. On the solo, I need to increase my finger speed. I got the riff down, but not up to tempo. Any tips on how I can improve faster?
