ok just pause and go to where it says save then hit a or whatever you have to push to accept then it will says something like overight save file then acceptagain on where it says yes if that doesnt work then I dont know.

Just save in-game. Press enter, pick save, then it'll save your progress. It will freeze for a while ( dont worry its normal ) thenafter that, data saved.
