In my opinion, DS is better, I'm sorry, I don't want to have a game boy that Puked out an IPOD, I just want to play games, and communicate with friends that are NOT in Oklahoma or something, DS is better not because of the graphics, the graphics on some to most of the games do not live up to the PSP's graphics, however:
1- Most of DS's Games don't suck
2- PSP games were RUSHED
3- Nobody wants a UMD for 250$ just to play DVDs
4- Nobody wants only like 7 hours of battery life
5- DS has 12-18 Hours of battery life
6- PSP's graphics are good, but most of the games suck
7- DS's games may not have AMAZING graphics, but all of their games are really addicting
8- DS won 9 awards for their games, if you don't believe me, watch X-play on G4
9- 1,286,933 PSP's were recalled due to pixels dying, DVD lasers dying, batteries leaking or breaking, some cases the PSP actually set fire, NO DS systems were recalled
10- PSP officially announced only 12million PSPs will be released in the USA, DS PROMISES 20,000,000+ systems, already 9.37 Million DS systems are sold
11- PSP just doesn't live up to the hype

So BB you are going to pay $250 to play games you can play on the PS2. And to play movies that you can only play on the PSP. Rem my point was that there is no originality on the PSP.

Ibock3 had a pretty good post. Here is my list of things the Psp Have going for it.

1. A FRICKIN HUMOUNGOUS SCREEN
2. A COUPLE OF GAMES THAT DON"T SUCK
3. I can buy a gig card and play hundreds of gameboy, genisis, and SNES games on it.
4. IT HAS A BIG SCREEN
5. I can take it into a wireless internet cafe and check my mail.
6. Who wants two screens anyway?


So yeah, I don't think I'd buy one but they are pretty cool. I think thier widescreen is better than the other Car dvd players. PEACE

Ds>Psp

There is a possibility that there will be something to let the DS check email. Not positive but I think I heard some rumours. Can you beat Animal Crossing DS online though? How addicting will that be?

Havn't heard of it. The GC animal crossing was a good one though. All my girly friends liked it alot.

Well take the GC version take away having to bring up the menu, it's on the bottom screen. And take the game and put it online so you can visit other peoples villages and you have one really cool sounding game. I might have to get a DS for that and some of the other stuff they got coming up.

But really online? Or just with other people that are close by? Why no zelda for the Ds yet?

Yeah really online. That's a good question. They could make another mutiplayer zelda for online play. But they could do some interesting stuff with a Zelda game with the touch screen.

It says you can play it locally if you want or go with the wi-fi connection.

I think psp is better because you can listen to music, watch movies, etc. On ds you can't do the stuff like on psp. That is why its over $300 dollars.

Yeah but there are other things to play those. I mean think about this. I could buy a $50 DVD Player and $30 portable CD player just for what I saved by buying a DS over PSP. Plus I heard it's not that great of a media player. And it's $250 not over $300. I mean who cares whether it can play music? I mean when I buy a printer do I care if it makes toast?

nintendo puts full originality in their work, The double screen may sound stupid, but RPG fans don't like constantly opening and closing the item menu, same for the sims, the sims for DS lets you walk around on the top screen and manage missions, items, and double clicking the furniture activates the option where you pick where to put it in your character's house. Just because DS doesn't have DVDs and MP3s doesn't mean it's worse than the PSP, No DS systems were recalled, and alot of PSP systems were recalled, Nintendo does not rush their games nor their systems, and that's good, DS was announced 2 years ago, PSP was announced near christmas, the point is, good quality systems and games come from the companies that do not rush them, and Nintendo is better than any other game company, because it was the first popular game company, and still is the most popular game company, don't believe me? Go to Japan, you can't go 2 feet without seeing someone with a nintendo product.
