Now with the recent PM's sent to RGR staff and threads being made regarding controllers, I have found a solution for you. It's called Xpadder. I came across it when looking for a way to use my XBOX 360 controller for Doom 3. What this is and does is, it allows you to use a controller(any controller) for any game. It cost ten dollars on the website called http://xpadder.com/. However you can get a free copy from torrent sites too, but I don't condone to it. How this works is, you configure the controls in the program so they work like keyboard keys and mouse buttons, your basically replacing there locations and sync them to your controller. It works like a charm. There is also a program called Pinnacle Game Profiler but I haven't tried that one yet. This may help you with using a controller within the Retro Game Room and help answer some of your questions.
