What are your 2026 goals? Not resolutions because we all know that those don't last, and goal are a lot better.

My 2026 goals are to become a master at Minecraft PvP. Another one is to watch all of UnstableSMP from the start, I'm on the 4th episode right now. And another is to get 1 Billion in Geometry Wars 3.

Also come back to this thread in 2027 or late 2026 and see if you completed any of your goals.

Get my driving license I suppose. I think it's about time. Not that it's super necessary here but it's better to have it for the long run

I have two clear goals: stabilising my job position and becoming engaged.

The first one requires battling my father and probably even looking elsewhere for opportunities so as to put pressure on him. The story is a bit long but summarizing let's say we don't have a good relationship and he doesn't want to leave his position nor even attempt to train me into taking more of his workload. We've reached a critical point, also with changes that will happen next year in our society so it's time we talk this straight, and if he's not willing to cooperate... We'll see how things go.

The second one is far more feasible since it depends entirely on me. The thing is when will I do it, a part of me says when the above is sorted out so things are stable in my life but I'm not sure if this is just a mere excuse to postpone it. I'll delve into it later on because currently we have a massive workload that barely gives us any breather, but I'm certain it will happen before the year ends.

My main goal is weight loss. I've never been a huge guy but I'm over 40 and I feel like if keeping track of my weight isn't on my mind on a regular basis then it can get out of control.

I'm hoping to lose 20-25 pounds this year. I technically should lose more but I've never been a small guy, kind of husky all my life so the lower end of the weight range would probably make me look like a skeleton. I'd rather stay on the slightly husky side of things as I want to maintain a decent amount of muscle when I lose the weight so I have a better chance of keeping the weight off long term.

Other than that I don't really have any real goals. I'm married with an almost adult kid and a good job. Keeping life going for them is my main focus. There isn't much else I want to do.

I guess my goals are to try to stay on course life-wise and to finish at least one major project this year. That last part hopefully shouldn't be too difficult, since I have one already partway through.

geeogree : Good choice of goals lol, most people don't care about losing weight, and hope everything stays stable.

My main goal right now is to buy a car (well finance one). I recently got my driver's license back in december. I gotta save up to $3000 for a down payment for one which doable. Hopefully i get that before my birthday, if not, then before the year ends.

EX Palen : The real question is, does your possible fiance know to check Vizzed to see that you are planning on proposing? Or is it not a secret at all?

For me, it's just to become more productive. I have been very lazy this year. I plan on trying to accomplish a hard thing once a day.

She doesn't know English, so she wouldn't know even if she was behind me right now, but even if she did know English it's no secret that I'm planning it. She has no clue when will it be, but well, neither have I lol.

supercool22 : I think you had talked about getting you're driver license back in December? But nice! Hope you can get that car before your birthday.

Light Knight : You have come back again, but for how long? you literally come back in January of every year and then disappear again. Also good luck on being more productive... another goal is to be on Vizzed more often...
