Mega Man 6 gave us some unique robot masters. Unique robot masters are a staple in Mega Man games. Knight Man is one of the robot masters who made his debut in Mega Man 6.

Background- Knight Man was designed by a British-German company. Unlike other robot masters from Mega Man 6 he was designed for combat from the get go. He was designed to put on medieval duels for spectators in Britain and Germany. His job was also to show medieval history. It is said that he had defeated 1,000 robots in duels.

Britain and Germany entered him into the Robot Tournament. They thought him being designed for combat as well as his thick armor he would be a favorite. He was also eager to enter to show that he was a great fighting robot. However, Mister X who had sponsored the tournament turned out to be none other than Dr. Wily.

Dr. Wily took the 8 robot masters and modified them to do his bidding in his latest scheme to take over the world. Knight Man being designed for Combat really did not need much modifying. He was only reprogrammed to severe Wily.

Knight Man took over a castle most likely in Britain or Germany since the two countries jointly built him. He waited eager for Mega Man to show up. Mega Man showed up but Knight Man being a knight took it as another duel instead of attacking Mega Man in an aggressive way. Knight Man put up a good fight but was defeated by Mega Man.

It is revealed after the events of Mega Man 6 he was rebuilt. However, he has not been seen working for Wily since. Therefore, it is likely he went back to putting on middle aged duels for spectators and went back to talking about medieval history.

Appearance- Knight Man is a human robot who is based off of a medieval knight. He has black and blue armor. He has a shield and he has a made ball that he can fire from his buster cannon. He is often seen wearing a helmet with a mohawk like feature on the top. He is very bulky due to his armor.

Personality- Knight man being a knight is a gentleman and has a noble personality. He has a high sense of honor and that is why he is friends with Yamato Man as both have high senses of honor. He believes in fair fights and cannot stand cheaters or those who use dirty tricks in battle. He can sometimes have a one track mind though.

Attack- Knight Man has good defense and offense power. He uses his shield a lot in battle the shield can be used to block certain shots. He tries to jump off the walls and let his weight do the damage by trying to collide into the player/opponent. His main and most dangerous attack is his mace ball. Knight Man will shoot his made ball attached to a long chain at the player. The mace ball has spikes on it that can do serious damage.

Weakness- Knight Man being heavy and bulky suffers from mobility. Although he can jump he cannot jump that high. He is also not that fast but makes up for it with his power. Despite being friends with Yamato Man he is weak to his weapon. The Yamato Speak can penetrate his shield and his very thick armor.

If the player defeats him they will get his Knight Crush weapon. The Player can fire up to two mace balls. The Mace Balls can be used against heavy armor enemies.

As stated Knight Man is a gentleman and has a high sense of honor. He likes battle but is not aggressive. He cannot stand dirty tricks in battle as he sees that as being dishonorable.

As stated he is friends with Yamato Man as both have a high sense of honor and do not like dirty tricks. Both are based off of nobble warriors. Yamato Man is based off of a Japanese noble warrior mainly a Samurai and Knight man a knight.

Despite being valued by Wily for his offense and defense abilities. He is not seen working for Wily in future games. Thought it is revealed he was rebuilt. It is most likely he went back to doing what he originally was doing. Despite being reprogrammed by Wily he still maintained his honor. He did not act aggressive toward Mega Man and only attacked when Mega Man attacked him maintaining his nobleness even in battle. Therefore, Mega Man respects Knight Man.
