Bubble Man first appeared in Mega Man 2. Mega Man 2 is what put the Mega Man franchise on the map. After making his debut in Mega Man 2 Bubble Man would go onto to appear in other games. Anyway, lets learn about Bubble Man.

After, Mega Man defeated Dr. Wily in the first game. Dr. Wily created 8 new robot masters to take over the world and defeat Mega Man. Bubble Man was one of the 8 new robot masters created by Dr. Wily.

Bubble Man was the first water based robot master. Dr. Wily created him to cause havoc in the water. He was built for under water combat. Wily ordered him to take over water supplies in his latest attempt to take over the world. However, Bubble Man had a defect on him. While he can move and fight on land he cannot do so without jumping. It is revealed that Wily thought this was funny.

During the events of Mega Man 2 Bubble Man took over a dam in an attempt to hold the water supply hostage. Mega Man received reports that a dangerous robot master was causing havoc under water. Mega Man investigated and went into Bubble Man's under water base. Bubble Man took on Mega Man but was easily defeated freeing the water supply and ending his havoc. After Mega Man 2 he made appearances in other games.

Appearance- Bubble Man has green armor. In other games he often has aqua as well as green on him. He has a snorkle like tube on top of his helmet. It also appears he is wearing a scuba mask over his face. He has flippers for feet, and arm cannons on his hands.

Personality- Bubble Man despite working for Wily does not like pollution. In fact this causes him to go on rampage and hold the water supply hostage. Thus, One could argue he can be like an eco-terrorist. Despite Dr. Wily making fun of him due to how he has to operate on land he is a good spirited robot master. He loves to have fun. However, he can have too much fun and it is revealed he does not manage money that well.

Attack- Bubble Man when under water can swim at very fast speeds. He can also move under water with ease. He can swim toward his opponents in hopes he can collide with them. In future games he can launch himself like a torpedo. However, most of the time he swims around firing projectiles with one cannon and his bubble lead with the other one.

Weakness- On land Bubble Man has to jump like a frog or a toad to function due to a defect. This makes him very slow on land. In water he functions very well, but sometimes he can get into a simple pattern, so he leaves himself open to attacks. He is weak to several weapons. He is weak to Metal Blade as it can cut right through his armor. Quick Boomerang also cuts through his armor. Crash Bomb also takes him out quickly like due to it messing with his pressure.

Once the player defeats him they will gain his bubble lead. The Bubble Lead shoots bubbles out that can put out flames. It can also be used to detect fake floors.

Bad Point- He is horrible with money as he does not save his cash

Likes- He loves hot springs, and taking hot baths.

Dislikes- He hates pollution and oil spills this sends him into a rage and causes him to cause more havoc.

As stated Bubble Man was the first underwater Robot master designed for combat. He can go very deep in the water even places were subs cannot go. While he functions in colder water he prefers warmer water. He can sometimes behave like an eco-terrorist in causing more destruction if he sees pollution or oil slicks. He has a good personality despite his defect on land. He can sometimes be over confident as he foolishly challenged Mega Man to a duel which he quickly lost.
