I am a bit surprised by my 206 point green jersey win being the highest earned towards a single jersey. Never bothered to check if anyone else had 200+ towards the other jersey.

That mean i took two records from claytune and now he's definitely gonna hate me lol

RavusRat : There were quite a few of us that lived in the chat room. But, I would have to say I think it would be you in first. Singelli and geeo definitely have to be top 5, and I think I would have been somewhere between tenth and 20th.

Looking at my scores, and then comparing them to what the records are, it's crazy how much difference there is from 10+ years ago, to just less than 5 years ago.

Time to plan a attack to score more than 200 on a different jersey Green is too easy to break 7 pointers in so I'll write reviews all year and use them to score 7 pointers in yellow or red in some less active tdv mwhahaha.

-Most points in a VCS

This one was interesting to research. None of the VCS threads are in the Treasure Can, so I had to find them manually. There was no pattern to which months the VCS took place in the beginning, so it was hard to determine whether or not I found them all. Most of them were in "Your Forum" and had the keyword "VCS," but not all of them were.

I actually found a VCS that the VCS Hall of Fame seems to have missed: July 2009. Ziggy hosted and won, but the Hall of Fame does not list his victory.

Ziggy also didn't post results for the last day of competition, so I had to manually check how many posts different users made on July 31st, 2009, and add the appropriate number of points to Ziggy's score.

If you'd told me I hold another TdV record, having the highest point count for the blue jersey ever would be the last thing I would have guessed lol

The difference between that one and the others makes it clear that it's one of the hardest jerseys to score 7 pointers in. You have to either have no competition or outpost your rival 2 posts to 1 to maintain the gap. A review or two can easily get you there for red/yellow on most days. Only the green jersey is as challenging for non staff members due to the very inflated CP count limits for higher staff positions.

Curious what other stuff gets added to this over time

Furret: One review could be the difference between 3 and 7 points for Yellow but for every one post someone makes, the leader would have to make two, and that's just terrifying because just a few quick crazy house posts in under 10 minutes could eliminate a 7-pointer for the whole day.

There's been so many times where someone posting a few times in the final hour just to get 2nd ruins it for who was in 1st.

But it's a double edged sword because you need the activity from other people in order for there to be enough new places for you to post.

These aren't as hard to find as most of the other records, but I realized that you'll have to do some compare and contrast on the Tour de Vizzed Hall of Fame page to figure it out. The Hall of Fame page tells you who won each Jersey for each competition, and it has a list of who has won each Jersey the most (daily + monthly) but there is no straightforward list of who has won each Jersey for the month the most. So I decided to make a straightforward list and add it to this thread.

I'd love to compile some CP records, but I don't know where to find the data. Anyone have any leads?

With the latest records added I finally get to see myself on top for a record with my 7 green jersey wins I wanted to get all 7 in a row to have the most jersey for any jersey wins back to back but Bara had other plans.

I just added "Most Tour de Vizzed Points without ever winning the Rainbow Banner." This is probably a bit of a bittersweet record to hold.

I've also decided that I want to eventually update the opening post to include everyone's stylized usernames, to make it more appealing to look it. It will take a bit of time and I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but I plan to do it eventually.

8th in words in the 2010s is a bit surprising to me. I know i posted the occasional review, and did a ton of posting, but it's a shock to me.

5th in posts in the 2010s is also surprising, but at the same time it's not. I'm not surprised I'm in the top 10, but at 5th, with nearly a 7,000 post gap to 4th, and then a little over 2,000 to 6th? And Kenny in 7th... if he didn't disappear, he would have given Leggy and Zanderlex a run for their money.



Only 2 blues is a little surprising as well. Once the jerseys changed around with the introduction of CP, I never really had another chance at the TdV, as all the tasks took up so much of my time. But, only 2 overall blues sounds about right. I just thought it would have been 4, maybe 5.

I've also added stylized names for some records. For the Tour de Vizzed records, I want to add the appropriate jersey to each name (ex: names have green jersey for the green jersey records) but I can't seem to get it to work. I am using the following code:

It works when I used it in a HTML tester, but not when I add it to the post.

I have noticed that when I edit the post, the apostrophes are replaced by quotation marks. I don't know why this is happening.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

This one took multiple hours to research. I was able to find out the number of likes that each post in the top 10 had using the Stats page, but I had to find which posts had each number of likes manually. Unfortunately, the top 10 isn't very interesting. It's mostly announcements from David.

I also finished stylizing the names. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the jerseys to work properly, so I gave up and just went with normal name styles for the jersey records.

Keep up the good work, it's all very interesting stuff.

I'm kinda amused about the TDV points without rainbow one. More so due to the fact that I somehow earned that many points to begin with at all, lol.
