Splash Warfly was a reploid, cyborgs with human traits, that first appeared in Mega Man X7. He started off as a good guy before becoming infected with the Sigma Virus. After becoming infected he became a maverick, which are reploids that pose a danger to the world, so lets learn about him.


Splash Warfly was a naval officer in the organization Red Alert. Originally, Red Alert hunted down wanted criminals and Mavericks. Unlike, the Maverick Hunters Red Alert did not always follow the law as the Maverick Hunters had laws they followed. There was always distrust between the two groups. On the other hand, Red Alert was so good at preventing maverick outbreaks and dangerous criminals that the Maverick Hunters let them be. Even though, both organizations did not trust one another they had a respect for each other. Splash Warfly, being over Red Alert's navy patrolled the seas and oceans. He was effective at preventing violent riots. He also worked well with Wind Crowrang who was over Red Alert's Air force. The world considered Red alert to be heroes along with the Maverick Hunters. OH how that was about to change though.

Sigma seeing that there was always mistrust between the two groups decided to manipulate Red. Red quickly rejected Sigma. Sigma started to infect Red Alert Members. Axle a Red Alert officer seeing what was happening defected to the Maverick Hunters. He told Zero and later X what was happening to Red Alert. Red at first was okay with Axle defecting. But Sigma held Red Alert members hostage. He told Red that if he did not challenge the Maverick Hunters to a duel he would kill all of Red Alert Members, including Splash Warfly. Red caring for his comrades agreed. Red realized that he was going to either die by the hunters or by Sigma.

After becoming infected Splash Warfly started to attack ships that he once protected. He soon started to terrorize the oceans. He also knew that X, Zero and his former comrade Axle would be coming for him. He waited for the hunters at Red Alert's naval base. The Hunters took out his unit and eventually engaged him in battle. Splash Warfly thought he could take on all three hunters which proved to be foolish. Splash Warfly perished. After defeating him the Maverick Hunters ended his reign of terror. He went from being honorable to dying a disgraceful death.

Appearance- Splash Warfly is based on a flying fish. Despite being fish like he is very tall. He has large fins and wings on his body. He appears to be blue, teal, and aqua in color. He has large eyes that help him see underwater and on the land. He also has a large tank on his back that gives him extra power.

Personality- It is not known what his personality was like before becoming infected. Given how he protected the seas before becoming infected, he probably had a sense of honor. Being a military officer he was probably proud of his accomplishments He was also a master planner. He studied several battle tactics. After getting infected be became a hateful person. He believed that his role was to cause as much destruction as possible. He believed as a maverick in spreading terror. He also hated Axle after becoming infected calling him a traitor. He also considered X and Zero to be ancient and past their time. Despite becoming infected he did not loose his mind all together. He showed he was clever after the Hunters sink his ship he turned a heavy floating peace into a battle arena.

Abilities- Splash Warfly is an effective and top fighter. He can fight well on the land or in the water. He has the ability to glide some. He has several ways to attack. His most dangerous attacks or his lasers and missiles.

Attacks- Splash Warfly has several ways to attack his opponents. He will try to stab the player with a pitchfork like thing that can possesses. His other attack is firing his powerful heat seeking missile he can launch several at a time. His most powerful attack is his splash laser. He can fire a powerful and large laser beam at his opponents. His laser attacks have long range.

Weakness- Since he is water based he is week to volt tornado weapon. The voltage shocks him and shorts him out. The Volt weapon and electric attacks keeps him from using his most powerful attacks.

If the Player defeats him they will get his splash laser weapon and be able to produce or fire lasers.

Height- Speculated to be over 8 feet tall

Weight- unknown but speculated to be 200-300 pounds.

Power- He has above average power

Speed- He is quick and has above average speed in the water and on land.

In conclusion, Splash Warfly was once an honorable naval officer that used his fleet to help keep uprisings at bay. He had a good relationship with Wind Crowarang. He was a great planner and had a sense of honor. After becoming infected he became hateful, violent, and dangerous. He started to terrorize the things he once protected. He went from being highly respected to being hated as well as being one people feared. He also became full or rage. He hated everything including his former friend Axle. He made sure to call Axle a traitor. For this fact Axle was eager to destroy him and showed no remorse. His downfall was not doing what Axle did and leave the organization. Rather he chose to be infected. He also foolishly challenged the 3 hunters to a duel. Despite his power he was quickly destroyed. Therefore, he died as a disgrace and as a terrorist a far cry from what he was when before infection. This concludes his biography.
