Wing Crowrang is a reploid, cyborgs with human traits, that first appeared in Mega Man X7. He was a anti-hero in a criminal hunting organization, before he went maverick, which are reploids who pose a danger to the world. He would later come to a tragic end, so let's learn about him.


Wing Crowwang was a member of Red Alert. Red Alert, was a criminal and maverick hunting organization. They were different from the Maverick Hunters. The Maverick Hunters followed rules and the law. Red Alert hunted criminals down and mavericks. But, Red Alert did not follow the law. Still, they were seen as heroes due to keeping the world free of criminals and mavericks. Basically, Red Alert was bounty hunters. Despite not following the law the Maverick Hunters respected Red Alert. Red Alert did not trust the Maverick Hunters, but respected them.

However Sigma started to infect members of Red Alert under the professor alias. A young reploid and high ranking member of Red Alert named Axle saw this and defected to the Maverick Hunters. Axle told them what was going on. Sigma held Red hostage and told him if he did not challenge the Maverick Hunters to a duel he would kill all members of Red Alert. Red knowing he would die by the Hunters or by Sigma challenged the Maverick Hunters to a duel.

Wing Crowang being an officer in Red Alert was one of the ones infected by the Sigma Virus. Before he was infected Crowang was an elite fighter and officer in Red Alert. He was great at air combat and combat on land. After getting infected he took his air fleet that he commanded and started to terroize the skies. He would shoot down anyone out of the skies. X, Zero, and Axle destroyed his air crew and his ships. Eventually, they would destroy Crowwang. Thus, the hunters freed the skies from his control. Axle who had a friendly rivalry with Crowwang hated to destroy his former friend and felt the most remorse. But Axle understood he had to do it.

Apparance- Crowrang is based off of a crow or raven. He has black armor and large wings. He also has sabers that he can use. His talons allow him to grab and pierce armor. He also appears to be large.

Personality- Crowrang was full of pride before he was infected. He prided himself out of hunting criminals and protected the world. He was also fascinated with Zero and his power but not in a bad way at first. He was also very intelligent and great at developing plans. He showed great care for his soldiers and the world. After getting infected he changed. He become arrogant and very violent. He showed no respect to anyone not even Red. He also believed that war was always the answer. He started to become fascinated with Zero hoping to defeat him and bring him to Sigma. His personality really changed after getting infected by the Sigma Virus. He went from having good intentions to one who wanted to destroy everything. It is hinted he went insane as he could not see that he was being infected by the Sigma Virus. However, that is common with the Sigma Virus.

Abilities- Being avian Crowrang has the ability to fly at high speeds. He can swoop around enemies. He can also pick up certain things with his talons. He can fire boomerang projectiles at his opponents. In addition, he can use his sabers. He is powerful and very fast.

Attacks- Crowrang has several ways to attack his opponents. He can use his sabers and dash into the opponent causing multi hits. His main attack is his boomerang attack. Crowrang will throw projectiles that work like boomerangs these boomberangs can cut almost anything. He can also fire missiles from his wings. Another powerful attack is to tackle his opponent. Another powerful attack is his cyclone attack. He will literally turn into a tornado like figure doing massive damage with anything he connects with.

Weakness- He is week to missiles as they can shoot his airships down. They also do massive damage to him. He is also weak to plasma shots. However, he is quick and powerful to go down for long. The player needs to be quick. Another weakness is that since his a maverick he does not take time to plan battle tactics like he did before he was a maverick. He can bee too reckless at times.

If the player defeats him they will get his wind cutter weapon. The player will be able to send destructive winds at their enemies. Zero will be able to perform a tornado like dash that can cut anything.

Weight- it is speculated he ways up to 300 pounds maybe more since he has lots of armor.

Power- He has above average power due to his attacks and stamina

Speed- He is very quick.

In conclusion, Wind Crowrang was once an honorable officer. He showed great care for his soldiers and protecting the world. He was also very analytical taking time to analyze his intended targets. He was also pride and effective at what he did. However, after getting infected he changed. He became arrogant, showed no respect for anyone. He soon started to terrorize the skies that he once protected. He was very violent and would attack anyone possibly even allies. He also believed he could please Sigma by killing Zero. He also started to believe that the Maverick Hunters especially Zero and Axle could not defeat him. That was foolish as despite his power he was defeated by the Maverick Hunters. Axle who was once a friend and comrade to Axle showed the most remorse. Axle revealed he had a friendly rivalry and took note of his analyzing abilities. The once honorable officer died as a military disgrace. One could argue he was tragic as he was infected against his will. The virus made him opposite. Some consider him a victim in the Maverick Wars. On the other hand, he could have done what Axle did and leave the organization. Anyway this concludes the Bio.
