Plant Man is a nature themed robot master. He made his debut in Mega Man 6. He is based off of tropical flora. Here is a biography about this nature themed robot master.

As I have stated Plant Man is based off of tropical Flora. Originally, he was a flower breeder, and care taker of a botanical garden. He could communicate with plants. In addition, he could also control the plants to help them grow. Moreover, he was very popular and was considered the face and mascot of the Botanical garden he took care of. He was also used to help restore plants in the environment.

He was native to South America possibly Brazil in the Amazon area. That is where the company that built him was from. This is also were he would help restore the forest and environment. When news of the World Robot Tournament hosted by Mister X came out his company upgraded him and gave him a combat weapon. He was entered into the contest representing the Amazon area. However, the Robot Tournament was a ruse. Mister X (Dr. Wily in disguise) captured all the robots and reprogrammed them to do his bidding.

Plant man took over an Amazon base in the forgotten area. He was using his plants as a weapon since he could control them. In addition, he was given a new weapon his flower shield. He can surround himself with sharp leaf barriers that can cut through anything. This makes him having high defense abilities. In later games he appeared he also had an arm cannon that could fire pellets as well as the shield.

His main weaknesses are the Blizzard Attack. Plants are sensitive to cold temperatures so this is his man weakness. His second weakness is the flame weapon as plants are also sensitive to very hot temperatures. Basically, he can be frozen or burned. However, he can only be harmed when his shield is lowered. Eventually, he is defeated by Mega Man.

Personality Wise- Plant Man according to his CD Data is a cheerful robot master. He loves plants and trees. He is also big on environmentalism as one of his jobs was not to just breed flowers/trees but restore the forests. He can also be a depressed robot master especially if he is in a temperate climate. As plants die out for the season during the cold months. He also gets depressed when people destroy the environment.

In a way Plant man is similar to Wood Man. Both are based off of plants. Wood Man is based off of a Maple or Oak Tree while Plant Man is based off of a Plant. In addition, both are nature themed robot masters. Like Woodman he believes in protecting or restoring the forest/environment.
