Stone Man is a robot master that was created by Dr. Wily. He first appeared in Mega Man 5. He has made appearances in Mega Man IV for Game Boy, and the Mega Man fighting games.

Stone Man design is based off of Guts Man. Wily wanted to create a strong robot that could lift a lot of weight like Guts Man. He also wanted to create a robot master that was tough. Therefore Stone Man was created.

Dr. Wily created Stone Man to look like and be tough like solid bricks. Due to his rock solid body Wily ordered him to take over a mine in the mountains. He is excellent at exploring due to his rock solid body.

Stone Man can also repair himself. If he was to fall and crumble his unique design allows him to come back together. This is why he is considered valuable to Dr. Wily.

Despite being one of the heavier robot masters he can jump very high. In battle he has several attacks. His main attack is to try to crash in his opponent doing serious damage. His main weapon is the power stone. The power stone works as a shield and a powerful weapon. He can hurl boulders at a fast rate of speed. If Mega Man or his opponent is hit by the power stone it does serious damage. In future games his power stone is upgraded as it sends a wave of boulders toward his opponent. He can also throw large boulders like his friend Guts Man.

Stone Man and Guts Man are good friends. Both are built similar and both are very strong. As both can lift weight in tons. After all Stone Man is based off his friend Guts Man. It is applied both robot masters like to go to movies and sing Karoke together. Ironically Stone Man and Guts man are weak to heavy artillery weapons. Stone Man is weak to Napalm bomb. This is because the power of the Napalm bomb disrupts his ability to repair himself.

Personality wise he can be very stubborn. Once he sets his mind to something he will do whatever it takes. He does not listen to others that well. He is also very good at using technology. He dislikes stingy ans shelfish people.
