Neon Tiger is reploid later a Maverick boss that first appeared in Mega Man X3. He is fought by X or Zero depending on the game. What is Neon Tiger's background?

Before Neon Tiger became a maverick he had an important job. His job was to protect the Earth's last remaining rain-forest/jungle. Another part of his job was to protect the remaining wildlife from poachers. His orders were to do whatever it takes to protect even if it meant killing poachers. Neon Tiger was armed with the Ray Splasher Weapon. His most dangerous weapons was his long claws that could slash steel. He also had teeth that could penetrate metals. His other attributes that made him a good protector was his speed and power. Due to his weapons and power he was seen as a danger esp to poachers. Not many poachers tried him. Despite him being dangerous he was considered a valuable reploid and his job was important.

At sometime he was given the Doppler Vaccine. This Vaccine was supposed to keep Neon Tiger and other reploids from getting infected with the Sigma Virus. However, the virus turned out to be a placebo. Dr. Doppler himself became infected with the Sigma Virus. Neon Tiger, also became infected. He became more violent attacking other reploids, and even people. Therefore, he had became a dangerous maverick.

Neon Tiger, became a high ranking member of Doppler's Army due to his power, speed, and powerful attacks. He took over a jungle base. Eventually X and Zero confronted the now dangerous Neon Tiger. Despite being a formidable boss he was eventually destroyed by X and Zero.
