I think this might be the last of the MECC games for PC I'll do here but at least it's a decent one

Gameplay and Story: There are two modes in this game Explore mode and Adventure Mode, both stories are different however no matter what the mode you start off at MayaQuest Headquarters. In Explore mode you have to answer as many questions and make as much money as possible in 30 days before the rainy season starts (why not start it sooner? is the rainy season considered Hurricane season?) also depending on how you do you will either be approached by a newspaper or a magazine to tell your story but if you make more than ten grand you can get a book deal. Adventure Mode has you go the Maya Trail to collect four codes to help repair a satellite, why? because that thing, well I can only describe this as taking place in an alternate universe where Reagan got his star wars missile defense system, however since Communism fell this is good for preventing asteroids and meteors from hitting the earth but one of the satellites has been hit and only a portion of the codes have been recovered, we need the other four codes to get that satellite going again so the asteroid can be vaporized

Graphics: Most of the game made graphics are used in biking mode and the MayaQuest Hq and the game over screen (interesting CGI stuff) however well you'll see once I post a gameplay here, but man it almost looks like you're there in those ancient maya cities (hell I actually learned that Pakal's name was spelled wrong in Nancy Drew Secret of the Scarlet Hand, and what was said about him was kind of accurate, but it doesn't look like there was ever a whisperer of Silent Secrets, so no sign of any monolith in this game)

Soundtrack: Let me put it one way, I got claimed for the music on youtube, so you can hear the background music on youtube, though the tracks are kind of creepy.

Addictive: Oh I played this quite a bit when I first got it back in the Winter of 2019, I didn't want to stop playing it

Depth: There are two different game modes to play in as explained in gameplay and story, however the adventure mode is very random, it's not as long as explore mode (which is unfortunate) I think the most amount of time I had to finish Adventure Mode is 18 days, but then again getting to some places takes about 6 days and you can only bike for ten hours a day. You can control the biking, personally I would rather turn on the autopilot because I tried biking I can't do it, one of the ways the game can end is if you run out of money for repairs (yeah one of these days I have to film THAT extras video) There's also a museum in Tikal (I did film THAT extras video) that actually serves no purpose for the game, but then again neither does one of the tombs)

Difficulty: Some questions can be confusing after awhile I had decided it was time for me to take notes on certain questions because most of these are hard to find, I mean sure you can click the hint button to ask an expert but that would cost money, you can also lose money if your bike needs repairs. There are two ways to answer questions, finding the area that has the information you can send, and sometimes they'll ask for a photo for an answer

Post Review Follow up: I'm actually surprised at how cheap this game looks even though there were people on MECC's staff (I actually did share a video of their journals and such) that actually went to these places and asked questions online, heck they were actually going to make other games and make a new franchise which would have been a great idea (including one in Australia but they really should have considered an Inca one) I really do hate that I had to take the game off my cycle due to a lack of interest. If I made a top ten list of my favourite Mecc games? this would make the top five easily (also I think Arglefumph is making an Oregon Trail game that's kind of based on this format)

This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I review a Nancy Drew Game, which one? I don't know we'll see which one I land on tomorrow when I make it
