If you love the Switch, then you need to have a Mexican eshop account. Because of conversion rates, many digital switch games will be 5-15% less in the Mexican eshop than in the American one. In some cases you can get really lucky with games going for 33% off or more. You’ll get even luckier if there’s a sale going on because the Mexican price almost always reflects the sale. For instance if a game costs $20 and dropped to $10 during the sale, it’s very likely that the game could drop from around $19 to around $9 in Mexico.

If you want to save a few dollars here and there, you should consider buying games from their eshop. Even on release day many games will be cheaper their instead of in the American eshop.

It’s very easy to have a Mexican eshop account too. All you need to do is make a brand new account and set Mexico as your country. There’s no extra steps that you need to take. You can even use your main account, switch it to Mexico on the website and then switch it back after you bought some games.

One of the best parts of the Mexican eshop is that there’s no restriction in how you pay. Not only does the Mexican eshop accept American cards but you can use PayPal too and all the conversions are done for you in the eshop.

Here’s a small fraction of the games that I’ve personally bought through the Mexico eshop and got 10% off or more at the time.

Shin Megami Tensei III Remaster: $28.76
Amnesia Collection: $1.50
Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet Complete Edition: $9.57
State of Mind: $0.85
Two Point Hospital Jumbo Edition: $23.38
Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town Deluxe Edition: $51
Persona 5 Strikers Deluxe Edition: $42
Little Nightmares: $6.83
Sakuna of Rice and Ruin: $29.86
Enter the Gungeon: $3.74
Crypt of the Necrodancer: $3.49
Shining Resonance Refrain: $7.08
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Complete: $13.40
Darksiders 2 Dethinitive: $8
Donut County: $3.74

I already have an Asian e-shop account though, so now I should get a Mexican e-shop account for better discounts?

tRIUNE : Aren't there a bunch of extra hoops to go through? I have one for Japan and I rarely use it since I have to go to another website to buy a Yen eshop card and they almost always cost more than what the conversion says.

Though you can also temporarily change the country to Mexico.

For sure lol... I was alluding to VPN. I'm not even sure if the eshop works while using VPN since I don't have an esshop account.
