So it was announced within the past couple days that the new Dragon Ball movie coming out next year will be called Dragon Ball Super Super Hero which title wise I think sounds really dumb but besides that without the anime I'm pretty much desperate for more Dragon Ball content so I'm Super excited Not only was the title revealed we also were shown this new character who had a 1 or a 2 on him I'm not sure if it's the same character with a different form or 2 characters. Pan shockingly seems to have aged and will play a part in the movie which has everyone wondering how long of a time skip we're going to get. Also Piccolo has a house which is pretty cool that he doesn't have to hang out at some wasteland all the time though I half expect because it's Torriyama that his house will be destroyed and played for laughs. The movie seems to have a different approach to animation though until we get a full trailer I don't think we'll really have a real idea on how that will turn out. What do you think about all this?

I'm quite hyped as well. The last movie was bonkers, and this one will hardly surpass it.

My main issue is the time skip and the manga. We're getting so many new transformations and it's expected they'll be ported to the anime or whatever animated material we get. I don't expect the story of DBH to get included, but the manga has high chances and we just saw a new transformation for Vegeta which is... interesting.

Piccolo's house getting destroyed would be awful, he hasn't had one for 35+ years. Plus, the characters for the laughs are either Krillin or Mr Satan, I'd hate to see Piccolo reduced to that category (though it's true in Broly he barely did anything). Not sure what will be the meaning of his house, but we'll see eventually.

Pan playing a part sounds weird given how young she still is. She already had a key role in Battle of Gods but I don't expect her reprising such an important role. Maybe the part she plays is that she'll get kidnapped or something? I know it sounds dark, but getting her involved in any other way when Goku and company are as powerful as ever makes zero sense to me.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what this movie is about. I may pass on watching it in theaters if it's not good enough or doesn't catch my interest enough and just watch it comfortably at home whenever subs are available for it. I also hope the trailers are good, I was so hyped with Broly's trailers I almost watched them day in and day out.

I loved watching Broly in theaters, it was definitely an intense experience so if this is anything like that from a visual standpoint, I can tell that I'm going to love it.

Is it expecting to be out this year? I’ve been waiting for some new Dragon ball content since the end of ToP and Super dragon ball heroes doesn’t cut it for me due to its small time and erratic pace with the fights… I mean not bad it’s just advertisement I guess

Hopefully with the new animation style it’ll work well
