so i watched assassin's creed movie and then i listened to the reviews on youtube saying it was a bad movie but what got me thinking was the text explaining the plot of the movie do you guys think thats the reason why the movie was bad would you rather have the plot explain during the movie?

Personally if it's a movie based on a game that I love, I'd rather not have the games plot involved at all but rather a different story, like what they did with Warcraft, and if it's a new plot, then I would want to see it actually in the movie.

Rather have the plot be exposed during the movies since it won’t take away the anticipation of the film, unless it’s anticlimactic then you have every right to be ashamed of watching said film. One video game movie I actually enjoyed playing tho was toy story 2: buzz lightyear to the rescue since it was actually well done with the stages albeit a bit too repetitive. Tho this is assassin’s creed we’re talking about and never played any of them sooo.... yeah
