that was awesome! That pretty much sums it all up for me. Lots of running and jumping and shooting. It's amazing that such a simple concept has spawned as many games as it has.

Mhmm. I totally agree. Kinda like tetris as well, but then again that's a puzzle-type game so maybe it doesn't count.

I like games where there is something new in each sequel, which is kind of bothering some fans of that series, oh yeah, Megaman is another series that I sort of can't play for more then an hour or 2... or an hour and half...or half an hour.

Games I truly like are games which have so many different things to do, or games which you can make your own story, kind of like "The Sims" or "Spore" with it's "Galactic adventures" pack, because both of those games allow you to make your own stories with very powerful story creating tools and terraform tools, Sim city counted too, as it has the easiest terraforming tools EVAR.

Spore itself is an underrated game, I mean sure it has a good fanbase but on Vizzed, it is kind of "disliked" by high rank vizzed members (trusted, mods, you know). It is an Action game ,Tycoon game, arcade styled game, RTS, RPG styled game but without RPG fighting, like Super paper Mario, creating game,simulation and storytelling game at the same time (very from stages), so of course there will be a part to please someone (sorry if this sounds like an Ad, just wanted to say which games I like).

Maxis, or (lately) EA-xis games are one of my favorite, I just like their games.

P.S : Demon Amy made me lol because of the person Amy is in the games, compared to your user pic. So it is like she just wanted to suck the blood outta Sonic >-:-D.

I can't dislike Spore since I haven't tried it yet but it sound like a good game.

No really, just love supernatural, Vampires, Zombies, Demons Hang castles and Demon fangirls who used to be like "Why did you hurt a sweet little girl like me" and turn into "I AM GOING TO SUCK THE BLOOD OUTTA YA AND MAKE YOU ONE OF ME SONIC"(pretty much explains the demon Sonic picture).

My number one favorite Sonic character is Tails, and 2ed place goes with a 2 way tie between Sonic and Metal Sonic, 3rd is...well...tie again with Amy, Charmy and Espio.

My least favorite Sonic character -right at the bottom- is Shadow, didn't see that coming, did ya ?

I dislike Shadow because he stole Sonic's fame, I hate people who are overpowered, I hate people who are totally perfect (Shadow after "Shadow the hedgehog game", that really made him like, perfect without his whining for "Maria"), and Sonic well...can't swim (yay for flaw), and finally, I AM THE ULTIMATE LIFE FORM !!!! NOTE: I don't hate shadow, it just I don't like him either.

The only good thing about him is Chaos control.

I like crab-meat more then Shadow actually, cute little Crab-meat sitting on Green hill zone, oh and Amy is ranked higher because of her hammer, her old outfit, but now, I dunno.

I find Metal Sonic cool because... he talks Computer , and he IS a Computer shaped hedgehog, and he betrayed Robotnik, oh yeah forgot to tell you my love for computers and Hi-tech stuff, it is high.

Fan characters are quite common for this series, but it is because it is really easy to make one for this series, just recolour the main character .

But I have been trying to make original ones, ones that DON'T look like Sonic, have outfits, different body styles, different animal, but most of them will be those people at the background, the useless fellas screaming their heads off when something happens, but I did make a fan character that betrays Robotnik, and one that files a Jet really well.

I hate the appearance of humans in the Sonic series, make some charterers that are hedgehogs or foxes or something at the background for once, we don't need humans who can't tell the differences between black and blue.

I hate the different animal coupling in the series as well, I mean Hedgehog + Human, Bat + Echidna, oh and worst of all, Fox + Plant (that is what you get for being an Ecologist who just LOVES nature), but since it is their world, I am not going to be "racist" to their eyes.

P.S : How can my name be familiar ? I made this name up when I was coming up for an account for club penguin and few years ago, and I only joined Vizzed last year, when you were already gone (june-july was when I joined).

and i love your long explaination of your ranking of Sonic characters. it makes sense.

oh and I agree on your view of shadow, so i wasn't really surprised.
