I noticed today that being in the bathroom goes way quicker than you realize. I'm never in a rush but it took me like 6 minutes to go for a pee and come back. Keep in mind the toilet is about 10 steps away from my bed so I don't know what I was doing in there for that long. I have the same thing with showers, I think I'll just rinse for 5 minutes before washing and then get out, and at some point I snap to reality and realize I've been standing under the shower doing nothing for a solid 30 minutes. I think the longest shower I've ever taken was an hour and a half and I have no clue how that happened. It was past midnight when I got out lmao.

I've been buying a lot of Pokemon cards lately but also checking the prices of lots of them, trying to sell and trade them with people online, and messing around with the online card game, probably a couple hours a day since the start of the month, and I can't tell if I hate it or not.

My two worse offenders are reading and playing video games.

If I'm reading a good book I can spend several hours reading before realizing how much time has passed.

The same for video games. Playing the right game can get me lost for several hours.

And with the way things have been the last few months I'm okay with getting lost in something for a few hours.

I think the only thing I lose track of time doing is playing video games which I don't think is that often but it does happen sometimes like on new years I was playing a game and I just so happened to check my phone on midnight on the dot which was pretty lucky.

I almost always lose track of time while playing Valorant. It's really bad because sometimes a game can take as short as 20 minutes sometimes almost triple that time. It's painful since I grind it so much. But Im also addicted to the game this horrible cycle will never end.

I've been really bored lately and I just do stuff like sudokus on my phone or online. They have different rules each time so it doesn't really get repetitive and the hardest ones can take a solid 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

There's a YouTube channel I watch called cracking the cryptic and they do a bunch of sudokus every day that you can try yourself. Big shoutout to those guys for keeping me engaged throughout covid times!

I have really lost track of time with anime over the last couple of months. It all started when I wanted to see the first episode of the Scarlet Nexus anime since I was really liking the game so I bought a Funimation subscription for the first time to watch the episode. I didn't want the entire month to go to waste so I ended up checking out a few others, starting with Cautious Hero.

At the time, there were only three legit anime that I really cared for which were Seven Deadly Sins, Sword Art Online, and Fairy Tail, which also happen to be ones that I only watched on Netflix.

But since then I fell in love with more than a dozen different ones between Funimation and Crunchyroll and made a list of another 30 to watch.

It's like how at the end of a conversation I'll often question how we got from the topic of train stories to a monkey being able to do a backflip.
