How many concerts have you been to? Who did you see? Where was the concert?

I have been to 8 I believe, but I could be forgetting some. They were...

Bon Jovi at Nassau Coliseum when I was in 6th grade.
Katy Perry at I don't rememeber where when I was in 6th grade.
Maroon 5 and Train at Jones Beach.
Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson at Jones Beach.
Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden two or three years ago.
Post Malone and Dave East on campus at Binghamton University last fall.
Foster the People and D.R.A.M. on campus at Binghamton University for Spring Fling last spring.
U2 at Nassau Coliseum last year.

Billy Joel was by far the best one. Not even a question.

I've been to 2 real concerts and a few fake ones. The real ones were Lindsey Stirling and Hans Zimmer. The fake ones included NKOTBSB, Justin Beiber, and a few others.

The Hans Zimmer one was amazing. Very close seats and super performance.

As of January 2019, I've gone to 4+1 concerts.

My first one was Jean Michel Jarre at Teatre del Liceu, in 2008 (man, time flies). It was the tour of the 30th anniversary of Oxygene, probably his best known album, and since it was the first time he came to my city since I was born, me and my family went to see him as a group. When his masterpiece of Oxygene 4 started playing it was like entering Nirvana.

In 2012, we went to Berlin for the first time with the only idea to see Scooter performing at the O2 Stadium. They're my favorite band, so I was incredibly excited. Their music and energy put everybody to dance and shout like there's no tomorrow, and even before entering the place we were already singing aloud some of their best songs.

In 2016, Jean Michel Jarre returned to our city, this time promoting his twin album Electronica. He performed within the acclaimed Sonar Festival, where many of the greatest bands have been present over its 25 years of history. He played some of the most amazing songs of those albums, mainly the ones he made with Armin Van Buuren and Edward Snowden, and he conquered our hearts when he got closer to the audience to summon his laser harp. And well, because he's a master at fanservice, he couldn't forget his lifetime masterpieces like Oxygene, so all in all it was an extraordinary experience.

In 2018, I attended the Sonar Festival for the second time, because it was spearheaded by no other than Gorillaz. I admit I haven't listened to many of their songs, but I love their style and the concert was spectacular. Damon Albarn constantly got close to the audience to hype us even more, and the many artists that appeared on stage as collaborations made it something special.

I said 4+1 because my father is good friends with the leader of a local band called Versión Imposible. Said leader is a master of copying voices from many artists, and he improvises on stage like no other (hence why they call themselves Impossible Version). They held a special performance for my father's 60th birthday with most of my family and my father's friends present, and it was magnificent.

The list will grow this summer, because I already have tickets for Rammstein. I haven't heard of them coming to Barcelona before, and I've followed them for more than a decade, so it's going to be something special. They have a new album incoming in Spring, which they will focus on during the concert, so I'm incredibly hyped to finally get to see them live and without having to leave my city.

I've been to only 2 concerts, both of which at conventions. The first one was at the Grand Brony Gala, which was headlined by BlackGryph0n, otherwise known as Gabriel Brown, and he's a great singer and electronic musician. I'm not a brony anymore but I still enjoy his music quite a bit for how both relaxing and invigorating it can be. I also saw my good friend Jack, otherwise known as ToxicxEternity at MagFest 2019, and he got to play a short set of 4 songs, which you can actually watch here if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZgqmLzi89M
