Alright, this is pretty simple. Was there ever a time when you threw a pokeball just because otherwise, you would faint the pokemon? Like on a legendary, and you never thought it would work, you just knew one more attack would faint it, so you decided to throw it, and if timer balls were your strategy, build up time to make them stronger... and you accidentally caught it? I did that today on Platinum... I finally got around to going back and catching Heatran, and once the battle started, I remembered I didn't have any quick balls or dusk balls. I was using my level 50 dewgong, the same level as heatran, so I had to be careful. I used aqua tail, a couple take downs, and ice beam. I then threw an ultra ball, expecting it to break out. I was stalling to give my timer ball a better effect. I caught Heatran, and I was like OMG! It worked! So, what's your story?

its only happended twice to me
