EX Palen grabs 2 Jerseys.

Well, I got the seven pointer the day I only aimed for a decent score. Still, 12 points in two days is an awesome score, it has allowed me to further increase the gap with no 8120. These next two days I should get the gap to 15 points, which will allow me a decent margin for the last third of the competition.

Looks like the battle for Yellow won't finally happen. I've increased a bit the gap with Eirinn and today he'll have a hard time scoring high, so as the days pass by his chances of claiming his third overall Yellow are lower and lower. I wish I could be proven wrong by next week, but seems unlikely.

Right now, if things stay like this, my only chance to escape the fate of Fire jersey is by getting Blue as well. There won't be a fight for it, just that if thing1 doesn't come back from his slumber I might pass him due to the low numbers we're having. I wouldn't really like to get a jersey like this, specially one where I'm very weak, but I guess it's the prize for not falling off almost any single day.

I just wanted to stop by and say hello and mention how I've been mentioned in the Green Jersey run. I've had no intention in being part of what is going on, but it's slightly silly I've been scoring points nonetheless.

tornadocam grabs 3 Jerseys and 2 7-pointers.

Wow, yesterday I slacked off way too much. Not getting a single point in Yellow or Blue is a dangerous signal, even if I don't have any real competition for Rainbow, but I still want to reach certain milestones in total points that have been delayed slightly due to this.

At least I managed to stay at no 8120's tail, so the gap reduction was minimal. I should keep this pace for the next three days, after that there will be one last push in an attempt to secure the jersey. I won't have enough gap to mathematically secure it, but virtually securing it sounds feasible. I should also keep an eye on Green, I have good chances of finishing runner-up in there as well, and getting at least 2nd place in all jerseys would be an amazing feat.

Wow. One post landed three people in the top five for blue, and 605 words won yellow.

But something less depressing: It's Sunday. Also I'm approaching second overall for yellow. I'm not trying, but I don't mind it either. :V

Yellow and Blue are mostly dead, and have been like that for a while now. Red and Green are still somewhat lively, at least for the top 3, so I guess the competition isn't entirely dead despite the very low numbers displayed even on weekends.

I'd say that Yellow is virtually secured. Eirinn would need to score 3 points more than me every day to only tie our scores, so while it's still possible for him the low numbers are of no help in his endeavor. Green was secured several days ago, and Rainbow is also virtually mine because thing1 is now too far away even if he returns and I'm fully able to neutralize the scores of no 8120 towards the overall rankings.

Red still has a (raging) battle going on. I'll have to push myself tonight if I don't want to see the gap reduced to half, and I'll still have to battle it out tomorrow until I can deliver a final push during the last week. I don't think it will be enough even to virtually secure the jersey, so I won't have a single moment of relaxation in this field.

I fell short of 2 points to break the fabled thousand total points, so today I'll finally clear that milestone. My next goal should be a spot in the top 10 for total points, for which I'll need 60 more points or simply breaking the 300 mark in this month, which would also become a new personal best for me and a hard one to surpass, I might add.

It was fun while it lasted.

Less than 100 words for points in Yellow is just too low. Such a shame to not see much activity in Yellow or Blue, they're really dragging down the competition. Red and Green don't have astronomical numbers either, but at least they keep up with what we're used to see.

My worst fear yesterday was to see my gap in Red cut in half, and that's precisely what happened. Looks like I cannot afford any slow day from now on, so I'll have to set myself CP targets everyday to, in a sense, ensure the gap is kept stable. Not sure where exactly should I place those targets, but I surely need to step up a bit if only to neutralise a seven pointer from no 8120.

We have two jerseys to fully decide yet, so it will still have some fun for me. Or that's how I'd like to call it, because it's actually driving me mad to counter no 8120's pace all month long. 

Sorry I don't have a lot of points. I wasn't aiming for anything other than to reply to a few posts of new people or something I know about.

Sweet. I got seven points by accident -- those lessons are good at that. Yellow is sealed, so I couldn't win it if I wanted to, but the competition livens up the posting anyway, so I welcome it. It's a fun sort of side game, I suppose.

This is beyond the most depressing (but true) TDV titles I've seen. Just by going to the new posts page, I see that I have several of the most recent posts, even though they were made 4-5 days ago...

I never thought it would come to the point where a single post could actually give you a serious chance at getting some TDV points for the day...

Kind of strange we haven't had an update as of yet. I hope it's no big deal.

Yesterday someone wanted Red to have some big numbers. If they had shared their plans, me and a couple more users would have happily lent a hand ^^

Despite those big numbers, the battle for Red was unaffected. The points we scored were lower, but the gap would have been the same either way. I should be having a few strong days coming up, though I don't see myself back with a +10 points lead anytime soon.

My main concern is that I've already burned the main weapon that got me this lead, so I'll be relatively weak during the weekend unless I manage to find something else to fight with. I have a few options, and with the virtual sealing of Yellow I may even take a risky one, but I'll take my time to consider all the options and pick the most efficient one.

Late results.

I'm losing my grib on the blue jersey. I don't like that... I guess it's time to post a little bit. 

EX Palen : Umm... actually that was my fault. I was assigning reviews, and accidentally launched three people into the top five. I was trying to be careful, but as you can see, I wasn't careful enough. :/

I'll lie low on the review featuring for the rest of the month unless someone posts in the directory thread, or of course if tRIUNE asks me not to (I don't think he would, but he has the right to). I don't want to mess up the standings too badly.


If nothing else, the low level of competition is giving us some new names in the standings at least. That much is nice to see. Hopefully some of them decide to try competing actively after seeing this.

tRIUNE's 2nd account gets a Jersey.

Welp, it surely was unexpected that an alternate account would be winning a jersey, though Blue should be easy for big posters like him.

My secret weapon for yesterday fulfilled its role magnificently, though I didn't get such a strong reply from no 8120 so as to actually have needed it. Still, the timing was perfect because I really needed time to deal with this week's releases for the confusion my sources have caused me, so it wasn't a wasted effort.

thing1 is back to protect Blue, so three jerseys are now secured. The only open battle left is Red, which has been open since day 1, and will probably stay open until at least next Tuesday. I could speed it up by pushing a bit more, but I don't want to force myself in these critical moments, and let's not forget about "outer interferences" getting involved, willingly or not.
