Elder Scrolls IV, The: Oblivion 02-07-14 10:11 PM

Oblivion period
Hey guys this is Codythekid1993 and today I'm reviewing The elder scrolls IV oblivion. Oblivion is the fourth game in the series of elder scrolls games released in 2006 it used its first person ability's and outstanding graphics to lead the way with this game and that's where we are gonna start today...
Graphics
From the beginning cut scene when the game is entering and you can see the world as it scrolls in around the whole world, then goes in showing a couple of battle scenes and you realize the graphics are the best for any game like this in a long time. However its not just that its the attention to detail of creation of the world the way damage is dealt and combat is great. Then the characters in the game are almost all different and they all have their own personality's which isn't quite a graphic but its that attention to detail that I like to have in a video game and that's why I gave the graphics a 10 but lets keep moving with sound....
Sound
The music and battle effects of this game are great to me but may not fit everybody but I give the sound in this game a 10 and here's why. The music in this game is the type of orchestra music used in movies and games; Let's take the intro for example if you listen in the background you will here one of the themes for the Pirates of the Caribbean and yes the music is instrumental but that just works here picking up for intensity and dropping when you get out of those spots and its still enjoyable to listen to and they make it easy to play this game for hours and that leads us to our next category...
Addictiveness
Like most of the other elder scrolls games this one is no different. Besides the fact of the great graphics and the terrific story there are hundreds if not thousands of side quests and guilds that make you stay in your seat and play this game for hours... ... Read the rest of this Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 03-11-13 08:23 PM

the beginning of greatness
Hey guys this is codythekid1993 here with Nostalgia 2.0 and 2guysandtheirgames. Today I will be reviewing the sonic game that started it all. The original SONIC THE HEDGEHOG not the 8 bit port, not the game-gear version, and not the 06 version, but the real thing SONIC THE HEDGEHOG for the Sega Genesis. And I want to waste as little time as possible, so without further ado let’s begin shall we....
The year was 1991 and Sega had finally figured out what they needed when it came to gaming and what they were missing in general, and what they were missing happened to be a competitor and a mascot to rival the Nintendo franchises Mario Bros., which was the pinnacle of the gaming world. Plus at that time with its strand of Super Mario Bros. Games there was really no other console to stand against it. So Sega was sent to work and the characters were sent in by the millions (with a little room for exaggeration), but none were good enough until the choices were slimmed down to two characters. The first was Mighty the Armadillo, but there was also the blue hedgehog known as Sonic who seemed to be a mystery at that time while mighty had appeared in a few games already. It was a hard choice but in the end Sonic shook the creators of Sega making him the best choice. Other than that he also shook the hearts of many gamers around the world with his style, the speed the game showcased, and the weird but yet funny Japanese commercials you were convinced to by this game. So you or your parents bought the game for you and the legacy and story began.
The games story begins by dropping the now famous Sega logo which took up 8 bits of the game just for sonic to run in passes it which at that time was a big deal because of cartridge size but then that was followed by a more impressive ima... Read the rest of this Review
