DrRM : I think the overall effect on the site would be good. Obviously it would depend on how long the ad is but I think it has potential.

Or maybe watching the video would get you a faster download speed or something. That's always an option. Not that that matters on many games but it would matter on the larger more expensive games.

I also agree to some point to your first statement, and since I haven't used any ad block, I can't say anything in point 4.

why you do things are as or less important as how you do  them (at least to me).


for big games, giving the option of watching a video is nice and I approve of it.... as long as it doesn't get in the way of enjoying this awesome place I will always agree with anything .

This is a fantastic feature. Up to now I've agonized over whether to buy X or Y, but now it doesn't really matter too much. A short video is a small price to pay so that I can continue saving toward the PlayStation and accelerator.

well as far as load times it went from 5 minutes to about 30 seconds for one page just one webpage i forgot which site it was but that is a huge difference is it not

Bumping this thread, sadly with bad news.

Since the last few updates, I think 2.25 was the last one to work well, the game has started loading while overlapping the ad completely. This becomes specially troublesome with audio-based ads, because both the game's sound and the ad merge.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
