I'm not really sure what the first ever cartoon (I watched a lot as a kid, go Nickelodeon) I saw was but I know what I watched at an early age so I'll just list that.

I watched WAY more than that, but you asked for the first things. I remember when shows like Doug, Ah...Real Monsters, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Ren & Stimpy and all those others first started. Huzzah for being born in 1984!

First anime I ever saw was Voltron, by the way, but I was around ten by that time.

On a side note, do you guys remember Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude, or You Can't Do That On Television... or Guts, or Hidden Temple? I miss the good ol days. What about before TV Land when Nick at Nite showed old shows that were actually good?

i first saw pokemon the original pokemon... they no longer show the original today but the y show sequels most of which are terrible and are worthy of a golden mullet.

I first saw the Smurfs when I was like 5, and I loved it at the time. One day when I was channel surfing it was on, so I watched 5 minutes, and I wondered why I had ever watched it in the first place.

I can't even remember what I saw first... I'm just gonna have to list what I watched when I was little.

I can't remember what my first cartoon was. I don't have many memories of my childhood I wish I could remember! Maybe some kind of kids show like Arthur or magic school bus?

i think that the first cartoon i ever saw that i remember at least is called Cow and Chicken. it was a funny show and it is still showed sometimes but usually only on boomerang.
