Thats a tough call. Lufia was a lot of fun to play and I liked the story line. However Chrono Trigger was so much fun to beat and then the best part was after you beat it, you got to start all over with everything you had when you beat it the first time. But I think I am going to go with FF3. I put more hours into that game than any other game.

I would have to say mario rpg because it was the first mario game that was an rpg
instead of a normal platform game from mario, but dont get me wrong I still love the origonal
super mario bros. games but super mario bros. 2 to was just to terrible. I would not know how
good chrono trigger is because I have never ever played it in my whole life. I imagine though
that it is an awesome game but still I have never played it.

Haha I was totally gonna vote for Chrono Trigger but then I saw poor Star Ocean had zero votes which is a bummer considering I totally love that game. All those games are great games though. But they all pale in comparison to Terranigma. But could that game be considered an RPG? Maybe more Adventure then RPG?

Terranigma is Action RPG acording to GameFAQs, so yeah it's still an RPG.
There are a few others I would chuck in as best snes RPG as well, I mean c'mon theres no mention of Tales of Phantasia, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, or Breath of Fire II
