I kind of doubt it because CDs just don't last nearly as long as cartridges, but it would be great if future systems could hold even even half as long as the old ones do.

Oh dear, that's really friggin' hard to say, to tell you the truth. I've tried pretty much all of them, and they all have their pluses (except for the Virtual Boy.. shudder)... and right now I am REALLY loving my DS.

But I gotta go with the SNES.. by a SMALL margin.

The game and watch is really something...cool. It's simple, yet great. It has many games. Brand name, and generic. Mr Game & Watch is the generic person from the game and watch games. Youtube "game and watch fire"and watch it. You can tell that its mr game and watch. All of game&watches moves are from the generic game&watch games. It's a really awesome handheld. Just download virtual boy emulator and go to game boy/gba roms and go to "g" and find game&watch gallery. In that game, you can play good ol' game and watch games.

There's something to be said though, that the Game & Watch games can be emulated or placed on just about anything, as they were with the GB... and with the versatility of the GB over a Game & Watch itself...

Without a doubt the snes, it have tons of games and most of them are great. Zelda a link to the past is my fav one.

I love the Wii but I rarely play it. I loved N64 but I would still go back to SNES here and there. Most of my favorite games are on that system or the playstation.

oh man tough one id choose between the snes GBASP or wii because wii rocks but my sis hogs it all the time. the snes rules because of all the games.
and the GBASP because its portable and light

SNES was a large part of my growing up, they just dont make games like that anymore.

I voted snes yet, the n64 is tie with it because some of my favorite games came from it..

I owned all these systems I'm just happy that i didn't waste my own money on it(I was too young to buy them myself) but they are all great systems. If i had to pick it would be between N64 and SNES. You know whats even better Emulators so you can play your favorite games not not have to go into that dusty room to get the system and plug it in!

I haven't played all of the NES stuff, but I have played NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and Wii. I picked NES primarily because there were just so many good games on that that of which I remember the most and loved playing, and was the second console I ever had (after Atari 2600). Coming in close second, though, is SNES. I do really love Wii too from what I have gotten to play on it (mostly Wii sports and Guitar Hero World Tour), but have never owned one. I only get to play that at other people's houses. But NES has a lot of my old favorite classics. I had a lot of good times with that.

N64 was the BEST!!!! Then... it went downhill just like Playstation.

I have had a lot of fun times on almost every system listed.

Who owned a nintendo and can not remember the days when you had to blow on the games to get them to work, and you had a special why of putting the game in the system and pushing it to the side while you pushed it down to turn it on? and no matter what you could always get it to work.

And the super nintendo who came out with the great idea of round controls so when you got upset and threw them they did less damage then the sharp corners on the regular nintendo controlers.

How about the game cube and how you looked like you were carrying a purse every time you brought it over to your firends house just to play some mario kart.

What about the wii controler vs the plasma tv? Has anyone not seen those utube videos of idiots throwing their wii controlers threw their plasma tvs?

I am going with the wii. Not because of the control vs tv. but becuase it gives the user more interaction with the game than ever before. it gives you a small feeling of being part of the game almost like your really there. down side is the graphics are not that great.

I vote the nes. Still a classic and while the snes is badass, I like the old 8-bit.

It was a tie between snes, N64 and gamecube. N64 won this time because that's what I played the most.

well of all the systems i played i'd have to say the gamecube is my bestL:it has a big game selection and it is almost indestructable (X-play tested the gamecube's ablity to take hits it survived every test)so overall my best is the gamecube
