Well this is where I come in. Bigbob, you could do all coding and set the coding for all the objects, what I would do is, I'd rip ALL the graphics, and I'd put all the levels together, that's half the work right there
I'd also rip the sounds and music and such, all you'd really be doing is setting the scores system and highscores system, and you'd be designing how everythign interacted and the movement of everything. I'd make all the sprites animated aswell, I'd pretty much do everything except the coding...and I could even do a little bit of coding, as long as it was easy stuff.

Well it's not a whole lot of effort, ripping the graphics for Super mario bros. wouldn't be much of a task, and I could probably find graphics on the internet already ripped for it, and therefore leaving me with only having to put the levels together.

It's a special emulator that allows you to take ROMs of NES games and play them as Java-games on a website, which is basically the same thing you're trying to do with Flash-games. It contains all the vital emulator functions, such as Game Genie support and Save/Load States, and it also saves your progress normally on some games by utilizing cookies. It also has a function wherein it connects to the official NESCafe website (shown below) and automatically downloads new ROMs for you to play. Definitely one of the better NES emulators I've seen.

And HERE is a site worthy of your notice...it has playable versions of every video game for the NES, TurboGrafx and Sega Master System, all run by Flash- and Java-based emulators.
