My favorite video game...I'll have to go with the one I've replayed the most, which is The Legend of Dragoon.  The storyline and music easily drew me in, but the thing that really kicked it off for me was the combat.  While it was a turn-based RPG, it was the first game I had played that implemented a much more interesting way to fight.  Essentially, your characters are given different move sets, which can be equipped outside of battle, and each one has a different number of additions, or button presses.  Each move set has five levels that increase with 20 full completions of the move, increasing the damage and spirit gained from each hit.

The additions also had to be timed.  Think Guitar Hero, but a square is sitting over the enemy while another spins in from the border of the screen towards that one.  Each move set has a different sequence (though the button to hit was always X), and any move set with three or more additions gave the enemy a chance to hit you with a counter.  Imagine three quick button hits out of seven and the second one suddenly changes, setting off an animation whether you get it right or not.  It throws you off completely, and it made me fight harder to beat the game than I ever had on any other turn-based RPG.  The better your abilities in physical combat, the better your characters are all around (completed sets can give you new ones, and the spirit gain can increase your dragoon levels).

The replays are more or less tests of skill.  Fully training all allies, getting the ultimate armors (crazy expensive), going through the game without using Dragoon powers, and eventually I'll go without dragoons or the ultimate armors.  I just can't keep away from it.

My favorite video game would be any of the Sonic the Hedgehog series on the Genesis. They have easy gameplay, tight controls, catchy music, and a nice touch of exploration in them. They will always be classics to me.

Call Of Duty Series:  Black Ops, MW2, MW3, Cod4
I first started playing Call Of Duty Modern Warfare on the PC and it was great. I especially love the Campaign built in to the game.
Then I got into World at War, which I liked because of its big maps and the war type feeling. Cod4 did not give me that feeling like WaW did. MW2 I did not play, but Black Ops, which is my favorite of all the Call of Duty games was an amazing ride. When I first started playing it on the XBOX 360, it was a blast. To me I felt balance in most of the weapons and the maps were fairly decent. I played with almost great connection. My favorite part of Black Ops was the Private Match. Very compatible and lots of customization to be done. You can create a number of different things to your gaming experience.
MW3 might have just started, but the guns are balanced, well made, and overall you can use any of the guns it gives you to use. Quickscoping is back, and my friends love it too.

Minecraft:
Minecraft has bad graphics but is an awesome adventure. You can survive in any way you want, play with friends, or just create anything you want!

I would go into detail about this, but I think most people understand why these 2 games are my favorite.

I have a huge passion for gaming so it is definitely hard for me to find narrow it down. Off the top of my head my favorite 3 series of all time are Final Fantasy, Shin Megami Tensei, and Pokemon. Heh I honestly play any RPG, FPS, Survival/Survival-Horror, and MMO I can get my hands on. There are very few games that I DON'T like.

Now the reason I chose those three as my favorites is simple. I love playing games where strategy is involved especially with the Shin Megami Tensei series.

It is really hard for me to narrow it down to 2 favorite games. I like so many, and have been gaming for so long, I know I always leave some out.

I would say that right now my two favorite Games would have to be Zelda, a Link to the Past, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

I had so many great times playing both of those games...hours of entertainment.

I like all of the elder scrolls games. I've been playing them since morrowind on the PC, and I've got to say, there will never be an rpg like oblivion again. There was just so much to do in all of the elder scrolls games, and recently, in skyrim, they can really add whatever they want to for the pc players like myself, because the steam servers will just let us get it instantly! Also, another reason that all of the elder scrolls games are just so wonderful, is simply because of the fact that you can make your own quests or monsters, storylines or characters with the creation kit or creation tool as it was previously called. The integrated creation kit with steam workshop is the best thing ever. Sorry, I'm just babbling on and on. I'll stop now, but really, there is just so much more that I can say that I like about the elder scrolls series AND the developer is also great.

Another good game is Borderlands, which was another RPG that was basically focused more like in the future but it seemed like it was a wasteland future. I'll never really be sure about it. But, you could customize a lot of the game, besides your character which did disappoint me just a little bit. But, other than that, the rest of the game is just so great. The sequel to that game is coming out this September, and I really am very excited for it since I am a big video game nerd as you can tell from this reply.

My favorite game is Burnout 2: Point Of Impact, it has fast racing, the best crashing-cars experience, you can't get your glued eyes out of the TV, they are stuck!

I am surprised no one even said this game on here, this is a great racing game with "wincingly wild crashes", off road madness, and speeeeeeeeeed!
I don't know the pronouncation of "wincingly", if anyone knows the pronouncation, tell me how you pronounce it.

Am I active?
Level 30, 158578 experience points, 1995 viz, 715.975 seconds to get 1 EXP when idle, and my rank is a

My favorite game is Kingdom Hearts 2 it got everything you could possibliy want!
You would think Square Enix and Disney working together is a bad idea but its probably the best idea ever!
Awesome music!
Touching story thats got both sadness, action and comedy sometimes you play just too se what will happen next.
It got a awesome combat system and even better graphics!
It also got one of the best openings ever!
If you play it or any other KH game especially this one youl see for yourself.
Its more than a game its just so damn awesome and i really hope they make a third one and maybe a movie.
Kingdom Hearts beats any other video game by far according to me dont belive me? Try it out for yourself even if youre not a disney fan youl still love it!

One game that  I will never forget is Paper Mario for the N64.
First off I love the unique use of paper styled world and characters.  I've never been fond of turn-based battle games but this one I found amazing.  The story is well... come on its a Mario game so Bowser kidnaps Peach so go find some special items which can defeat whatever Bowser came up with.  It happened to just hit me just right that I can never forget it. Paper Mario 2 & the Thousand Year door was just as good. Super Paper Mario was good but it saddened me that it swerved off the turn-based battle system from 1 & 2.  What can you do, right?
