It's a classic game, and unique too which is always a bonus.
Fairly straightforward. Its based on the idea of the animal (lemming) which people thought were suicidal (they thought they deliberately jumped off cliffs). You get a bunch of lemmings out of a hatch and you need to use items/moves like dig to reach the platform below, or umbrella so they can float down. The more lemmings you get to the door alive the better, if too many go splat you lose. I'm no expert but they don't look like lemmings though, more like oompah loompahs, lol.
You need to get a certain amount to the hatch to win and then you progress to the next level. The games pretty fun, until you get stuck at which point, it just irritates me but I always go back, good game, if you somehow haven't tried it then I advise you do.
Trivia fact, the lemmings was created in my own country and city, of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The graphics are simple but not bad. You can tell what everythings supposed to be so that's pretty good.
Soundwise, nothing impressive there, then again, whats new. Most retro game soundtracks suck anyway.
Difficulty wise, it gets progressively harder. I've never actually completed it but yeah, it gets fairly difficult.
Addictiveness, I would put at around 7. Its pretty fun but eventually, it does wear thin on your nerves.
And story and depth wise, almost non existent. It's the same every level, save da lemmings.
Still, very good game, worth a play. I still enjoy it all those years after it was made.
