I have tried both the first and second solution to the patch but I still get the disc authentication error when it opens in the neighbourhood chooser menu. Can anyone help?

Hey Davideo7,
I have tried out your second solution to the 'disc authentication error'. When I get to the neighbourhood it still says that there is a disc authentication error and will not let me play the game.
Any other suggestions?

The patch you supplied (and thanks very much for doing so) successfully started up the game for me, but once it gets to the neighbourhood chooser it comes up once again with the 'disc authentication error'. Where should I go from here?
