The Mr Mime brigade comes to the rescue with a platoon of blastoises.  They draw Mewtwo's attention with water cannon fire while the Mr. Mime's just barely are able to keep it away with numerous reflects and light screens.  Just when Mewtwo is about to break through, the Master Ball hits him in the back, sealing him away...  for now.

Now for my original post!  BTW, I originally was going to have people do both a defense and attack and on post, but changed it because I thought it would be too much work.  It happened anyway though, so from now on the policy is your choice, one or both.  However, you cannot solve your own plot.

Team Smug Magma (Smugma, as said by most) was about to execute its master plan. Swamperts perched atop volcanic Mt. Chimney, Hoenn's highest peak, prepared to create a mudslide that would flood Lavaridge Town, wiping it off the map. As a result, the magma flow would increase, causing the volcano to blow it's top. The lava would flow down into the lowlands and devastate Verdanturf and Mauville, and they would be unprepared for this menace, seeing as the Explouds are using hyper voice to cause some preliminary destruction and chaos. The eruption would blow clouds of ash skyward, and a Northwest wind, helped by the gales of their Swellows, would drop the ash, with some extra ash from Route 113, and bury Fallarbor Town. This disaster region was to be the base of their efforts to conquer the entire Hoenn region with their hoards of powerful Pokémon. The Swamperts make their move, and the earth gets soaked and begins to flow. Pressure builds beneath Chimney, and the ash begins to rise into the air. With the eruption due any moment, and the mud racing towards Lavaridge, it seems like nothing can stop the terrible terrorists!

Ooh, I got some good ones.  5 + 2 = 7...  or in this case, 5 dark type Pokémon.  I went with the National Dex, since Dark is a less common type overall.  I think this is good enough for AT LEAST #7 in a region.

I definitely don't agree with everything our government's done in the past and present.  From Indians to Mexico, Slavery to Jim Crow, Pinkertons to McCarthy, Vietnam to Iraq; America has done some pretty selfish and stupid things.  But right now, and throughout history America has cared about its people.  She didn't always care about everyone, but our Bill of Rights cleared the way for social change, and now Columbia smiles on all of her people; haters, hoarders, and Uncle Sam notwithstanding.  America will care for her people, and that's what she does best.

Each to his/her own.  I think that marriage should be decided for individuals by individuals.  Laws shouldn't be made to discourage their decisions.  I think the legalization of Homosexual marriage would allow the minority equal rights and leave the majority unaffected.

Matthew2321:  I understand that most people uncomfortable with Gay marriage visualize the concept, and their orientation turns them off towards the idea, and I have no intention to change your mind, but as long as you are straight, you can remain comfortably so, and I believe gays deserve the same right. 

As for the idea that the idea that homosexuality could be the cause of humanity's extinction, this is ridiculous, as we are becoming so over populous right now.  Also, LGBTs are minorities.  Most people are straight.  Still plenty of baby-making opportunities.

Don't mean to whale on you, the freedom of thought is sacred (in a non-religious way). Plus, I think your primary reason is very understandable.

This is a game of epic proportions.  It involves each poster defending the world of Pokémon from the previous poster, who has come up with a terrible, devious, nasty plan.  Find someway to thwart the evil plot. Then the next poster comes up with an evil scheme, the next poster foils him/her and so on and so on.

Rules

1.  Every evil plan and world-saving mission must involve Pokémon; at least one.

2.  The setting must be in the Pokémon World.

3.  Don't abuse legendaries.  Legendaries are fine, but I want people to get really creative, and that means using many different kinds of Pokémon.

4.  You allowed access to any technology in the Pokémon World or the Planet Earth.  Also any mystical stuff in the Pokémon World.  If it happened in either universe, it can happen here.

5.  Logic can be straight, debatable, not thought through, or a bunch of other things, including nearly completely illogical.  But no troll logic.  There's a difference between creativity and mind screwing.

6. Not everything has to be on the world scale.  You can go regional, local, or just plain petty, but overall, try to keep the scale tipped towards the epic side.

7. Don't get too dark.  Similar to Legendaries rule, except some options are definitely off limits.  
            Example:  Flooding the Earth: Okay.  Genocide:  Not.

8. Be detailed enough for everyone to understand what you're doing, and more than that if possible.  Don't go on for too long, though, especially if you don't want to.  The detail of the gender ratio in your Pokémon army is probably something you can remove from your post.

9. If someone posts a response after someone else responded to the original last post because they started typing before the post was made, that's understandable, but to avoid most of these situations, have your scenarios in your head BEFORE you start typing your reply.

10. The pattern is ABAB.  Do NOT solve the last plot if someone already did, and do NOT come up with an evil plan if the last evil plan hasn't been solved yet.

11. BE CREATIVE.  I WILL DOUBLE TEAM-RECOVER SPAM YOU ALL INTO OBLIVION IF YOU BORE ME .
