There is another way for life on the planet to be destroyed. Every several thousand years the magnetic poles of the earth flip, but that takes about a year to happen. During that time the electromagnetic field that protects the earth from radiation from the sun would disapear. That would allow all of that radiation to hit the planet full force. Currently it's something like only 3% of the radiation gets through and look at what that does if you stay out too long, sunburns and skin cancer. Imagine all of that radiation getting through. Supposedly the universe goes on infintly, so even if there is only one planet with sentient life on it out of several trillion, there will still be an infinte number of planets with sentient life. But proboly they will never know of or learn of any of the other races due to the distance seperating them.

Either way the sun is going to blow, if we are still here as a human race depends if we find another planet to inhabit and the ability to get there, assuming we dont blow ourselves and the planet up in the meantime. Even then the universe will end eventually, the only way for the human race to counteract that is to build enough time machines for the entire race to go back to the beginning of the universe and continue living in a different area, then they would have to avoid interfering with humans from the past.

I believe that video games are definitly an art form. Think of how much work and computer animation goes into making a game like halo. All of the characters, enemies, levels, and vehicles have to be desingned.

I think that using this information to cure stuff like birth defects is bad news. Take steven Hawkins for example, If his parents had known before hand that he was going to contract whatever disease he has and had tried to cure it then there is a chance that he could have died in the process. If that had happened one of the most brilliant minds on our planet would have died before being able to use that mind.

There is also one other major problem about cloning. Every time you clone a clone some of the genetic pattern is lost. If the human race became completely dependant on cloning after several generations we would begin creating incurable deseases that would come from those lost DNA strands. Eventually the human race would die out unless we found a way to bypass that.

I think that cloning, just like many things in life, have both risks and benifits. I think that if the benifits outway the risks then they should go ahead with it. Even if it is morrally wrong If the government wants to do it they will do it, whether we have a say or not.
