I have found I enjoy 3D for games like the 3DS ports of Mario 64 and Starfox. Other more detailed games, like Resident Evil, I prefer in 2D there is just to much to look at to stare at the 3D all the time. I have also found that traditional 3D and Virtual Realtity gear should not be mixed unless you can handle some serious motion sickness issues.

Well you should have time once you get used to things. But do keep in mind that the school work should come first. I would suggest time on single player games. As things like MMO's and FPS's tend to take a lot more time with guilds and socializing then you may have time for.

But I graduated in 2010, so not sure if anythings changed in seven years.

I am currently reading Dragonsinger by Anne McCaffrey. It's part of a huge series of books she wrote before she passed away a few years ago. Her son took up after that. Both are great writers though. If you like fantasy or sci-fi they are great books to look up.

I would have to say it is a tie because of the original Playstation and SNES. Both had a bunch of classic games I still love to play.

It's tempting. I would consider it. But I really only pay attention to Nintendo when they come out with new handhelds now. Like actually new ones not just remakes. I hear the NES relaunch had some issues with reading memory. Also, what is the point in an NES, if you don't have to scream and pretend blowing air into a game, makes it work.

Thank you, everyone, for the good wishes. T things are cleaning up quickly here. They got most of the roads cleared and the emergency personnel has been rushing by all day. I live on a busy street and can hear them pass often. Hopefully, not many people were hurt.

@MarioLucarioFan64: Thank you for your concern. It means a lot. It slowed when it got to us. Still did a lot of damage but mostly just external things like streetlights, roads, bridges. But thankfully the state was really strict on who could travel we were under curfew until 9 am this morning. And they are still telling people they should only travel if they absolutely have to.

We're home! Everyone is alright we just have a busted window and a flat tire. Electricity, water, and the internet just came on so we can take care of ourselves and let the family know we're safe!

@m0ssb3rg935: I think we have prepared for almost everything. We are just outside the flood zones, so it is a tad scary.Thank you for your advice I will try to keep it in mind as things progress!

@no 8120: Thank you for the warm thoughts. It helps tons.

I hope I put this in the right forum.

So Hurricane Irma is supposed to hit us tomorrow. And I need some suggestions on how to keep myself and my mother calm. I normally do not express my fear and discomfort at naturally occurring issues. I mean there is no way to a void them. But I am honestly a bit scared. We are not in an evacuation zone. Which I suppose is a good thing. However, we are just outside the warning risky 'flood zones'. And we still do not know what exactly will be hitting us.

My mother and I live alone, her husband recently died and mine strayed elsewhere. We have food, and water and have moved everything inside. But I just can not get over the fear of this event. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stay calm during a crisis?

Welcome to Vizzed! This place is great, and everyone is super friendly. You should be fine if your kids decide to hang on you and ask what you're doing every fifteen seconds or so. I've never seen anything come up on the forums more severe than a calm debate.

An option to download text books on to a pre owned tablet would save students hundreds of dollars a year. Many grants and scholarships only cover tuition, so people still have to bleed out money to pay for books with many courses requiring an updated book each year, so you can not even purchase a used one. I was in debt after college mostly due to the books. ><

I really enjoy the really great and friendly community. There really are not so many places you can go where arguments over simple opinions do not arise.
