I am currently not in education, I finished secondary school (High school in America) last year - 2016 - and went straight into a job, because I am wanting to gain access to USA for education, rather than carry out my education in the UK. I finished at Kingdown Community School, Wiltshire (We don't have states, we have counties in Queen's Country) Hopefully, Harvard will accept me to study politics in the US. I know, I can never be president, but I can become part of congress, so I'll have to stay for 7 years, but my education would take 3-5.

If that can't happen, I'll probably do an apprenticeship in the UK army, become an engineer and go to war. Then, if I survive, I can then pull a Hitler and go into politics.

He didn't blame a religion, he blamed a follower of the religion.
He said "it was the muslims" not "It was Islam"

The question burning into my mind is:

Was the USSR a legitimate communist state?

No matter who I ask I will be given different answers.
Those who claim to be Communists say it wasn't
Those who claim to be Capitalist say it was.
Those in between say it shared traits, but wasn't "True communism" or say it shared traits and thus was a failed attempt at communism.

Time to put the debate to bed once and for all.

Was the USSR communist?
Was the USSR a failed attempt at Communism?
Was the USSR just not a representation of Communism at all?
Or do you have your own opinion?

Just because emotions are legitimate experiences does not mean they're legitimate forms of arguments.

Example: Let's take the school shooting in San Bernardino, California today.

"How would you feel if
your child was in there!? We should ban guns!" - That is not a legitimate argument for banning guns, but it happens all the time whenever it happens. They will stand on the graves of those killed and use that as some sort of argument for the banning of guns. It's not an argument, it's a cowardly act in an attempt to gain an emotional victory, because they can't win in an out right debate.

San Bernardino, California had a school shooting recently, according to many news outlets - even foreign news outlets like the BBC are reporting it.
Multiple people have reportedly been injured, including the assailant. Two adults have been confirmed dead.

It's weird, I thought California had the strictest gun laws in the US, but a shooting still happened. It's almost like having the strictest gun laws
don't prevent shootings. They don't even prevent school shootings.

In many arguments I am a part of or even witness, I notice a lot of people involved will use emotion as an argument rather than facts. Before anyone starts calling others out for it, it is both sides not one or the other.

For me, whenever anyone uses emotion as an argument, they practically admit they can't argue their point effectively or simply don't have anything to say about it.

Please note: Emotion in an argument is:
Swearing/insults
"Think of how you would feel if ____"
Anything like that.

Now, my question is purely... Why? What benefit does it have? Why is it used?

So, many people know/have seen people literally wishing the second amendment be abolished. Some of you may have even seen protests against the second amendment (they're grouping with signs and wanting them to abolish the second amendment.) Now, the vast majority of the people wanting the second amendment to be abolished are leftists.

Please note: Leftists and Liberals
are not the same thing. Liberals are for liberty, Leftists are for Tyranny. They're different.

Now, the question is, do you, my fellow Americans, support the second amendment? Do you support your right to have guns in case of a government gone Tyrannical?

Personally, the second amendment is a god-sent gift to Americans. America has the undeniable right to defend themselves against oppression and tyranny coming to its lands. It should not be infringed upon.

The biggest thing I hear from leftists is:
"You're not a woman, you don't have a say in women's right!"
To which I
always respond:
"If only you applied that type of thinking to the Christian bakery"

If the government is not allowed to regulate Women's rights, why is it allowed to regulate religious beliefs?
Is it perhaps because you only like the government when it helps you?

It is my firm belief that homosexuals should have the right to shop wherever they want. However, it also goes the other way.
Business owners have the right to refuse service to whoever they want.

the Christian couple that refused service to the homosexuals were not out of line for rejecting service. They were well within their rights - protected by both Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech.

Freedom of Religion - to practice your belief and your faith without government involvement.
Freedom of speech - to make comments regarding any topic without government involvement.

They had to have told the homosexual couple they were refusing to serve them, hence Freedom of Speech violation.

Well, if you get all of the secret gifts and Athena's gifts, along with Alliance gifts, do the speed dungeons, participate in events, get the rewards, and get all the speed ups you can...

About a year to max all your buildings. I got to stronghold level 22, but can't advance anymore (pretty much) without paying, because there are things that are so immensely rare or hard to get, you
have to buy them.

So, whilst looking up gun laws in Oregon - specifically, when lethal force IS authorised - I found this quote:
"You shouldn’t believe that a gun or other weapon is the best way to protect yourself."

So, I ask, what IS the best way to protect yourself?

Running? What if they run faster than you?
Hiding? What if they find you?
Simply not leaving your house? Robberies happen, and now you can't defend yourself from a worse crime, because you don't have a gun or don't want to use your gun.

With a gun, at least, if both parties have a gun, it's whoever: Has better aim, which can't be known.
Draws their gun first, which can't be known.
Who fires first, which can't be known.
A fair amount of factors go into it, whereas the others is just luck.
The gun doesn't matter, as long as it shoots a bullet. The gun can and will defend you, whereas running/hiding/barricading your house does not.

If you're an American, I implore you, go
legally get a gun, go to a shooting range, legally practice it. Legally defend yourself, legally defend your family. You are safer WITH a gun and WITH the knowledge on how to use it.

So, naturally, the joke I will go with - it's kinda messed up, but it worked - is my very first joke. I used it at a pub near where I live, during a quick show I put on whilst waiting for a band to get there:

Hello, everyone, how are we? *Wait for response*
Okay, good. You know, I like working in small areas, small crowds, especially for comedy. Less people recording, less chance of me getting in trouble for making "bad jokes." In here, if I tell jokes, I'm fine. I won't lose my job, I won't lose a contract, I won't be jailed. I am safe... Until the police check my laptop and I have to introduce myself to all the neighbours, when I move...

It is a dark joke, if you understand it. But, surprisingly, it worked for my first joke, I really like it, it's a personal favourite of mine, because it made me be allowed to perform, when waiting for the entertainment to get to the pub.

Less people recording, less chance of me getting in trouble for making "bad jokes." Granted, but it's missing all components besides main body.

I wish for my girlfriend to finish uni.

taterii : I disagree. You deserve respect because you were born? No. You earn respect, instead of just believing you're entitled to it. You're respected only to the point of you being human.

Baritron : It is literally tagged as a joke thread. It was to make fun of J.K.Rowling's lack of looking into context about the whole PewDiePie situation and simply going off of the Wall Street Journal's out-of-context article. The fact she's in a Nazi uniform (It's photo-shopped) and the fact Harry Potter has glasses similar to Himmler was the entire joke. Out-of-context, lack of facts, insulting those who actually think like this.

Recently, J.K.Rowling - the author of Harry Potter - has called Pewdiepie a racist, a nazi, a white supremacist, etc. etc. She did this based off of Wall Street Journals out-of-context article on Pewdiepie. (Go read about it, it's great)

But, the biggest thing I've thought about, is Harry Potter looks a lot like Heinrich Himmler. They have the same glasses, Harry Potter has blue eyes, I bet she wanted to give him blond hair too like the Nazi she is! Heinrich Himmler was also called "magic" by Hitler, because of his efficiency in "removing" Jews from Germany and surrounding areas. Harry Potter is 100% confirmed based off of Heinrich Himmler, J.K.Rowling is secretly a Nazi!
P.S - There is also an image of her
in a Nazi uniform!
