Definitely yes. There are boards I registered on years ago, which I made cringe worthy posts. But I guess that's not really all that bad. It'd be cool to go back in time and actually make sensible posts on those boards, though. If there was anything else, either it was so bad I tried my hardest to forget about it, or I still have a young mind, so I don't see something that I did that I regret, yet. It depends on the situation. If I'm around relatives, at school, etc. I usually try my best to keep my mouth as clean as possible. When I'm in my room alone talking to myself, talking to online friends then I swear, but not very frequently. At least I think so. m0ssb3rg935 : I see, thanks for the information. Even with that lesson I had in school, I still don't think I explained it well. Can I be excused because I'm a child? Also, I think it can be called both. MWI and the Multiverse theory are pretty similar, but I used MWI to explain the concept. Ghostbear1111 : I don't think I ever implied that slavery started because of the events I described above. The problem I have with the EP is that, well, the Confederacy basically ignored it as if nothing happened. And when the North won the war, slavery would've been banned anyway. I also never implied that racism ended after the war, of course it's still around today. Racism is just this big can of worms so I'm not going to open that, for now. Super Mario 64. I've played it to death, so I know a bunch of good shortcuts and strategies. Which is why I like to do 100% runs of the game every now and then, it's an interesting challenge. -------------------- |

My father. While we hit some bumps in the road over the years, I actually really care about him. He's a nice, kind of old guy that deserves respect. If he just suddenly disappeared, I wouldn't really know what to do with myself. I'd be lost, and I would probably cry a lot. America's okay, I guess. After all, I was born and raised here for all 15 years of my life. It's not like I have anything else to compare it to, since I haven't experienced any other life styles in different countries. However, that might change very quickly soon. Because of the 2016 election, just the two people that are winning are kind of bad. So bad, that I asked my father if we could move to Canada if Trump wins. I've heard some nice things about that place. However, that might change very quickly soon. Because of the 2016 election, just the two people that are winning are kind of bad. I like Luigi and Nintendo in general, so the user name choice seemed logical to me. I don't know why I added the underscore, but I just did and it stuck with me. -------------------- |

I found this website in 2012. I don't remember specifically how, but I think I was searching for some Super Mario World Rom hacks and one on this website came up. So I clicked on it, and played it. Ever since then, I was sort of shifty. As in, between this site and using emulators. Sometime, the games would lag very hard(I was using a very old PC at the time though) but using emulators, that kind of lag never happened, and plus emulators were just very easy for me to use. After a year or so I ended up with emulators. I still sometimes came back to this website, though. Ever since then, I was sort of shifty. As in, between this site and using emulators. Does anyone remember the American civil war? I actually enjoyed learning about this in history class. It has such a huge back story and is regarded as one of the bloodiest wars in American history. For those that don't know what the war is(I don't know if they make people learn American history outside of America, but I don't think so), I'll try to summarize all of events the best I can so you can get at least some enjoyment out of this thread. In the late 1700's, when America was still forming, they started to practice the idea of Slavery. To do that, they needed slaves. Where did they get them? From Africa. Of course, none of the people there volunteered. It's to my knowledge that they just took them away from wherever they were living on the continent. They got a boat full of them, and headed back to America and arrived in Virginia. So the Africans were forced to do hard labor work. This eventually died out in the Northern countries, but it sort of continued in the Southern countries. The slaves in the South had to do a bunch of seemingly endless farm work. From what I've read, it was pretty bad. And even then, when the work was "finished" for the day, the slaves still had more work to do, as in keeping themselves in the best condition they could, along with their relatives and co workers. The North, on the other hand, had built factories to produce whatever they had wanted. Then, sometime in the 1830's, people were asking why Slavery was still happening. America was the "land of the free" and there were people with basically no rights at all. These people were a sort of minority, but they managed to get the message through to many people. So, in the North slavery was banned(but racism was still high in the air all over America). Eventually, they wanted the South to do the same. But at that point, it was basically impossible. The South's economy depended on Slavery so much that bad things would happen if it was just suddenly banned. So, a few arguments and compromises were passed, but in the end it was not enough. It had to be decided with war. The South seceded from America's So, yeah. That's the best I can give. At least you're not totally in the dark now. Anyway, to discussion: I'm just stunned at how racist white men were back in the day. Seriously, why and how did they get the idea that just because a person is black, they're bad and just a lesser person than them? That would never pass in today's standards! And I'm moreover wondering if any of the slave owners felt remorse. For well, whipping their slaves and making them do all that work. They're human beings for christ sake, they have feelings, just like you do! It must have just really sucked for the slaves, there's just too much bad things that can happen to them, especially if they were sold away from their family. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be separated from my family for what seems to be the rest of my life. And then, of course, there's that "other world." Have you ever heard of the Many Worlds Interpretation? If you haven't, here's a sort explanation: Every time you make a choice, it creates a new "world." For example, say you were hungry, and you wanted a snack. You have some apples and bananas. Let's say, you pick the apples. There, you just made a choice that created a new world. Which means, there's another world out there where you picked the bananas as the snack. So this "other world" I referred to earlier is the world where the South wins the war, as opposed to the North. America would be an entirely different place, no doubt about it. This might be stretching it, but what if we still had slavery today? It'd be terrible, of course. I would feel really bad just for blacks in general, for the suffering people are putting them through just because of the color of their skin! I don't even know if I would have even liked this place then. Or who knows, maybe I would have just thought of it as natural, because I didn't experience the world where the North won. One kind of funny tidbit about this entire thing is that people living in the South today are still salty about the war. I've heard that there's some people who still hang up the Confederate flag, as if saying "screw you" to the American So what does everyone else think? Do you have some speculation about what America would be like if the South had won? Any opinions about Slavery, etc.? Bulbasaur. For some reason, everyone just kind of neglects him, and I don't really know why. Sure, the other two starter Pokémon are very good, but Bulbasaur isn't terrible... Which is pretty much why, every time I revisit Gen 1 I pick Bulbasaur. I feel kind of bad for him. I also had gotten Bulbasaur when I revisited PMD: Explorers of Time a while ago, so since then I kind of became "attached" to it. I also like Pigeot. I also became attached to this Pokémon when I was doing a nuzlocke of Gen 1 and caught Pidgey in the first route. I kept and evolved that Pidgey all the way, and went out of my way to make sure it wouldn't faint. (Well, it was a nuzlocke after all...) Yes. In elementary school I was that awkward kid with no friends that barely spoke. All of my classmates throughout the years ranged from okay to "oh god it's that guy." It doesn't help that I basically was terrible at everything. I had alarmingly low grades sometimes, and I would always start to get very tired whenever we started to do things in P.E., so I was always the old behind everyone, the one person that was holding everyone back. The only real place where I felt comfortable at school was the Library, so I started to go there every recess and after I ate lunch. There were some good books in there, but there were some "meh" kids in there, along with someone I hated. This person, I hated so much. I'm just going to call him "N." N, I thought, was my friend. We talked sometimes, and played sometimes outside. However, N always seemed to physically damage me on purpose. I kept telling him to stop(which he responded with "okay,") but it kept happening. Eventually, I just stopped talking to him and just pretended like he didn't exist. I was tired of it. I don't know where he is now or if he feels sorry for what he's done, but I'm still not sure if I should forgive him. It really didn't help that there were bullies in the same grade as I. I hated them too, and wished they would just die. They kept picking on me and mocking me for my interests. I kept telling the teachers and counselors, but they responded with something along the lines of "Ignore it." That's not going to work, these guys are just bad. Really bad. And you know what? All of that built up to sometime in 6th grade, near the end of the school year. I was in line to get lunch, and they were constantly doing all these tricks to bug me. I got sick of it, so I punched him. Looking back, that probably wasn't the smartest idea, but I just wanted it to stop. A fist fight broke out, and it kept going until our PE teacher came in and stopped. We were pulled out of the lunch line, and then they asked each of us what had happened, separately. I just wanted to eat food, and this is what I got. When the school year ended, I was so glad to be out of that place. I will never forget the terrible things that happened to me there, but no other school could be worse than that one. 7th grade was like a breath of fresh air. While there were some students from my elementary school in the same class as I was, there weren't any of the terrible ones. However, I wasn't completely out of the woods yet. I didn't actually make any friends that school year, I think. It didn't help that there was a new "that guy" which I totally hated. I think he had some sort of special condition, but I forgot what one it was. Anyway, he annoyed me, but in the end nothing rash happened. 8th grade was probably one of my favorite years so far, because I "made it out of the woods". In that year, I actually made real friends that I could talk to and spend some time with. However, since I didn't have any friends before, there were some "common sense" things that I should have known, but didn't. In the end though, we all shared a good laugh about it. And now, I'm in high school. Everything was good, I saw some of my old friends, made some new ones, and learned a whole bunch of new things. I have no idea what was wrong with those kids in elementary school. I don't want to seem them again though, even if they have claimed to have "cleaned up their act." The problem I had with adding numbers is that it looks like I'm going through those "phases" on boards on the Internet, where people pick their favorite character and add a bunch of numbers at the end. It's a disappointment that I won't be able to get the user name I wanted, but I could live with this. After all, at a quick glance it's essentially the same one It's a disappointment that I won't be able to get the user name I wanted, but I could live with this. The SNES, I believe.
The story of how I got one in the first place is because of my half brother. He's in his 30's, and back in the day my father got him a SNES and a N64. A few years after I was born, he decided to move out. However, he left the SNES and N64 consoles with us, so I began to play with them. The first two games I played on it were Super Mario World and Wario's Woods, as far as I can remember. Both were classic, even though my Wario's Woods cartridge doesn't work properly anymore, rip. Neither does my half brother's SNES in fact, we had to get a used one off of Amazon so I could continue to play. The N64 still stands strong to this day, though. I don't really play on either console anymore sadly, mostly because I'm focusing on Internet stuff now days. The story of how I got one in the first place is because of my half brother. First, I want to clarify that I like my user name. So why am I asking for a name change? Well, if you were sharp enough, you'll notice that there's a small blank character at the end of my user name. That is ASCII character #255. In retrospect I don't think the board should have allowed me to do that but it got accepted anyway so *shrug* I added that blank character because there was already a "Luigi_Fan" ( https://www.vizzed.com/boards/profile.php?id=109234 ) registered here. I however, did not want to come up with a new username, since "Luigi_Fan" is a sort of universal username for me. Anyway, the other Luigi_Fan registered 5 years ago in '11 and has not been active since then. Is there any way that the staff can make a small exception and give me the username without the blank character? It doesn't seem like the other person is ever going to log in again. He didn't even make a single post. Well, if you were sharp enough, you'll notice that there's a small blank character at the end of my user name. That is ASCII character #255. Thanks for the welcomes.
"- What specific games do you like to play? - How did you actually found us? Did you hear about this site or something else? - Mind if i add you as a friend?" 1. I like platformers(The main series Mario games fills in that interest for me, along with the tons of mods the community has made) and puzzle games. It's always nice to give the brain a good challenge every now and then. If you're asking me to give you a list of specific games, then I can't really do that. I can't just choose a game out of my favorite series, they're all good. Same goes for puzzle games, I've played a lot of good ones. 2. I can barely even remember how. I think I was doing some google searching and found an SMW mod on the site. I played that, and well, the rest is history. 3. I don't mind, you seem like a nice guy. I can sort of understand if Nintendo was the one that told the people that run this website to get rid of the Nintendo games. While most of them were old and retro, they probably still do make money off of them via the Virtual Console. "- What specific games do you like to play? - How did you actually found us? Hello everyone. I'm new here. I've actually known about this site since 2012. However, I did not bother to go onto the forums until today. I think that's for the best, because if I did come on and register then, I'm sure I would've made a lot of cringe worthy posts that I probably wouldn't be able to get over. I've been playing Nintendo games for years, so I just stuck with that. I still do play them in fact. Nothing's really changed in regards to my gaming life. ... Yeah, I don't really have much to say. I'm not very good at making introduction posts. I've actually known about this site since 2012. However, I did not bother to go onto the forums until today.
